VOC recently received a submitted comment which we did not post. We would like to share the gist of accusations in that comment.
1. Doing poor job issuing facts.
2. Doing fine job of misleading the idiots that will listen to your fallacious comments.
3. This site has absolutely no integrity.
4. That we are employees using time to benefit this site.
5. Says VOC is affiliated with the Chief, and calls us liars, that the Chief if either funding or donating to this site with TRIBE'S MONEY or INDIRECT DONATIONS, or allows us to gather info on govt time. (If it was all that easy and simple, why do we work so hard to get our facts and get it out.)

There are many more accusations, some very vulgar. Person has been banned and spammed!

VOC does take issue with everything, especially the one about our funding and information sources. Who is VOC? Not even the Chief knows. Some people can't understand that some of us Creeks have minds of our own, and are willing to go to bat for our beliefs --- AND WITH OUR OWN PERSONAL FUNDS. NOT 1-CENT HAS BEEN DONATED TO US. We have not asked for any money, nor will we. Is that really so hard to believe? I guess it is for some.

Excuse us for this, but sometimes we just have to get certain things told. We have now been here for four (4) years, and these types of comments are a rarity.

In reality, the person is attaching "LIARS" to the ones of you who do comment, since VOC leaves it all up to you for comments. No need to place any replies either.

Those who have taken charge of the Tobacco compact and related issues appear to be very uninformed on this subject. Now look where they have brought us. The names stated above are correct. I need say no more about the weak followers, as they do follow out of fear or intimidation from those they follow, not due to knowledge of issues. It seems the AG's office cannot write or present a lawsuit correctly, and we pay them for 'no knowledge'?

Shame on us too for letting them sit on the council and have made us sitting ducks. Those learned NC members will continue their deterioration of our tribe and our sovereignty until we are NO MORE. I place all blame on the NC, the AG and all their attorneys for this. I don't know what other tribes are hearing and saying, but go back and look at all the actions of the NC, and you will see that they wanted this responsibility and took it all out of the Chief's hands, just as they have done with so many other responsibilities.

Whenever I see any of them around with their usual haughty attitude and demeanor, I do not even want to shake their hands, and I won't. I don't wish to have anything rub off them onto me.

All comments concerning loss of sovereignty and personal liability attaching to Creeks involved in the tobacco business are true,BUT who put the Creek Nation in this predicament NONE other than the Council members who voted NOT TO APPROVE A TOBACCO COMPACT WITH THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA(Principal Chief AD Ellis negotiated a contract but Council refused to approve it years ago) Those Council Members are GEO. TIGER, SAM ALEXANDER, BILL FIFE, ROGER BARNETT followed by other weak members who tag along in hopes of gaining favor from Tiger, Alexander, Barnett and Fife.
Damage to the Creek Nation by these people will take years to repair if ever.
The other person responsible for this HUGE loss of sovereignty is ROGER WILEY the Attorney General he was supposed to look out for and protect the interests of the Creek Nation. He hired the lawyers, he signed the briefs, he controlled the lawsuits, he LOST for the umpteenth time.
The Creek Nation cannot stand any further involvement in this Nation's government by these people they have caused more damage than Andrew Jackson.
Also be reminded that the United Stated 10th Circuit ruled against the Creek Nation in a companion case issued basically at the same time and said, IF the Creek Nation had a compact with Oklahoma our decision would have been different. TWO LOSSES OF CRITICAL SOVEREIGNTY IN BOTH STATE AND FEDERAL COURT IN THE SAME WEEK CAUSED BY THE ABOVE NAMED PEOPLE HELPED BY OTHER COUNCIL MEMBERS. ALL SHOULD SIMPLY RESIGN FOR IT IS ABUNDANTLY CLEAR THEY CANNOT ACT IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF CREEK NATION.

I can't believe the Chief and Council allow this to continue. Just recently the manager of the largest community smoke shop had a meeting with the chief. She tried to talk him out of a compact. This is a white woman. A woman that is not a tribal member. She is Jewish. I'm not sure how we can let outsiders and Jews run this tribe? Mr. Lighthorse is right about this mess and the NC needs to wake up and put an end to the nonsense.

In my later years (I'm an old full-blood Creek), I remember when Creeks were Creeks, hearing our language, songs, hymns. Now we have wannabees and thinbloods wanting what the Indians have what amounts to nothing more than identity theft and taking what Indians have fought for and built because of the Indian self-determination act.

The foundations built by past Creeks are taking hold regardless of our infighting. This Eli Grayson keeps writing racism and old Crow because full-bloods want to keep what belongs to the real Creeks. I live with racism as all full-blood Creeks encounter. Racism has a beginning and it started with the dominant white society.

Keeping identifiable Indians as our leaders is not racism, it's choice and it's ours, the full-bloods. Until we're all gone, then the thin bloods can have it, to twist and distort the tradition and culture of the Creek people as they wish.

Our people, our tribe will end up as a 'culture club' with white people wearing war bonnets and carrying plastic tomahawks in an amusing but sad attempt to imitate what use to be Creeks. This is where our history ends.

I truly hope that the money does go to the elderly citizens, I know for a fact there is an elderly female who is forced to live in a house that is unhealthy and is causing her to have respiratory problems, and they are unable to help her. I'm not saying its because of lack of money, but its because they can not get the right people out to fix the problem... I would like to see them take better care of their citizens rather then the employees dipping in and taking what they want!!

Roger Wylie did nothing concerning Trade and Commerce during his entire term SO all the coffee lattes, sexual trips,Chinese $500,000 gifts, marginal land deals and bonus payments are essentially Roger Wylie's fault and he is responsible for allowing those activities to take place(he absolutely did nothing), not to mention all the Tribal money irresponsibility spent (given) away by the communities.

If you are a Council member never support any legislation the racists introduce. if you are the administration veto any legislation by the racists, if you are a citizen Never, never ever support any of these racists. This type of behavior is an embarrassment to all and other governments look and laugh - simply silly Creeks again who cannot get along and still want to live in the past.
