After all, it is our (citizens) money that George is spending on his spending spree.

We haven't been anything by our council representatives, who all voted for the spending. A question for the council members: What did George tell you about this purchase, that you believed him? Does it ever occur to you that on issues such as this, YOUR citizens should be consulted? Were you elected in secret? Did our votes for you mean our permission for you to legislate in secret? NO. NO.

Neither has George, Mr. Colbert or Barnett told anyone what the facts are. The non-tribal people are told more than tribal citizens. That is not how our government is supposed to work. Yes, we are naive, aren't we? And you all take advantage of that.

We would like to know who those two Creeks are, who were the sellers of the country club. It's so hush-hush.
Was it those Eufaula residents JOE JOHNSON and MARK DOBBS? They both profess to be our Creek tribal citizens, so we're guessing it was them.

A case of George buying way above the appraised value, and that is where the kick-backs can be hidden from us.

Title 11, Which Rules Communities: Changes Coming, With The Blessing of George..

Communities have been advised to attend "input" meetings to change Title 11. This is the Title (laws) that all communities are governed by, and to operate under, on what they can do or can't do.

Last month, we were informed of a meeting scheduled for 6-14-2012 to be spearheaded by Wilson Bear of Checotah, requesting a representative from each community.

Then this week, we were notified a 2nd meeting has been scheduled for 5-29-2012, tentatively, set by Buddy York of Checotah. Notice was on letterhead of Community Services (CR & D). But the letter states that meeting has been planned at the Chief's direction & although CR & D is NOT involved, they encourage all communities be involved, and to have someone from each community in attendance. It appears to us that George has put Checotah people in charge of deciding what communities want. No one asked our community if they wanted any of their members on such a committee, or whatever it is. Whatever, you can bet your last dollar that Eufaula and Duck Creek aren't far behind. Any other input will be just a farce, to be voted on and then being outvoted if Checotah and George aren't agreeable. And we also have to remember that Cherrah Quiett Ridge is now the Director of CR & D. And Anita Freeman was terminated, so who's in charge?

Citizens' Vote on MCN Constitution #A-67. Will Piggy-back the Run-Off Election for Creek District.

Constitution Amendment #A-67 really bothers the sitting Council members. Their objection is mainly that they don't like to travel to other Communities outside of their own districts. By the way, they get paid mileage for it.

They blame it on the citizens south of I-40. It is said those citizens want to vote on their own council members, and don't want the possibility of other districts' votes to outvote theirs by voting someone they don't want.

Personally, we feel it's the councilors who don't like having to represent the entire nation. They're lazy. They don't like having to attend other community meetings. And there has always been friction between those south of I-40 and those north of I-40.

Testimony in the Kialegees case revealed some interesting facts. George Tiger (I refuse to call him Chief) has not only refused to publically state the Creek Nation's opposition to the Kialegees casino, he has been discussing providing law enforcement services to the casino with Tiger Hobia, the Kialegees chief...! George Tiger is willing to allow the Kialegees to conduct business in our jurisdiction and take much needed monies from the coffers of the Creek Nation. Tiger is a traitor to our nation and should be impeached. But that will never happen because he has un-indicted felons helping him remain in office. Tiger has much love for the almighty dollar, maybe we can buy him out!

5-18-12 Tulsa District Court Ruling on KIALEGEE Casino

Tulsa District Court Judge Frizzell grants the State of Oklahoma a temporary injunction to halt construction of the Red Clay Casino. In his ruling, he stated that the Kialegee Tribal Town does NOT have jurisdiction over the land and is not able to lease it. Building a casino on the Giles/Capps allotment would violate the KTT's gaming compact with the State, as well as violate the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.

It's now up to the NIGC to make its decision regarding the use of the land.

KTT attorney Dennis Whittlesey stated they would appeal the judge's decision.

George Tiger's Accomplishments - After 1st 120 days

What do we know so far about Tiger and his administration after the first 120 days? Well, let's compile the information and see if there is legitimately concern over his administration. I'll break this down month by month and I'm only going off of fact and not heresay. There will be one heresay argument but other than that nothing that can't be documented.

March: Tiger is the seat b representative for the Creek District and is in court about the Kialegee controversy. Tiger is there and says his "opinion differs from Ellis." Ellis' lawyer, Wiemer, was there because Ellis sent him. He didn't approve of the Kialegee's trying to build a casino.

September: Tiger is elected with the most votes of all the offices and districts. There was a 200 vote difference between the Principal Chief and Second Chief.

November: Tiger is elected along with the entire National Council incumbents, except Coachman.

December: Construction at the Kialegee casino begins and no one from the Creek Nation except Ellis and Jason Nichols speak out against the development.

January: Tiger is inauguarated. Many employees are fired, resigned or unconfirmed while Tiger puts in former members who served under Ellis, Beaver and Fife. An example would be Yonne Tiger, Jerry Wilson, Roger Wiley, Nelson Johnson, Greg Bigler, Edwin Marshall and Seneca Smith. There are many prominent staff members who are placed on the executive cabinet that are friends of Tiger or Barnett. They include J.D. Colbert, Cherrah Quiett, Jeff Fife, Christina Good Voice, Lucy Spaudling, Paula Willits, to name a few. Let's not forget the pick of the litter, Ms. Johnna Townsend. None of the jobs were promoted and this is just a list to name a few.
Later that month, Tiger issued a statement that the Muscogee (Creek )Nation would look into the matter of the Kialegee casino and would only support it if it came from both the executive and legislative branches of government.

March: Johnna Townsend is fired from Creek Nation. Allegations of adultery have floundered around the Nation. Cherrah Ridge-Quiett and Tiger's stepdaughter were the cause of the problem. The resolution to be in opposition of the Kialegee casino failed to be over ridden. Sam couldn't vote. Those in favor of the veto were of course in Tiger's pocket: Ade, Wind, Greene, Medina, Jones and Ridge-Quiett. Those voting for the casino plans have yet to investigate the matter fully.

April: Tiger purchases the Riverwalk and J.D. Colbert is then placed in charged to develope and for oversight. A few new staff changes.

May: Tiger's administration purchases the Okmulgee Country Club and passes resolutions to spend the funds in the permanent fund. On the may 5 election, Tiger's brother comes in second in the run-off election against Dode Warrington Barnett. Less that 1600 people cast their vote in this election.

Other than being an adulterer, what else has Tiger done?

Haven't even found out who all were vying for the position.

There were 3 people who were being confirmed or re-confirmed for positions.

As is now the usual, there was no agenda posted online for today's meeting. Sam did his job, to keep us all uninformed, which appears to be his and the NC's intent.

If one complains, one is told that one could attend the meetings if one wants to know what is going on!

TULSA, Oklahoma - The Muscogee Creek Nation purchased Jenks Riverwalk Crossing on Tuesday morning in a Tulsa County Sheriff's foreclosed property auction. Chief George Tiger was the successful - and only - bidder at $11,500,000.

Tiger told News On 6 that the Creek Nation held an emergency meeting Monday night to approve the purchase and bid amount. They must post 10 percent of the purchase price by 1 p.m. Wednesday, he said.

"We're very excited about the purchase," Chief Tiger said. "It was kind of a whirlwind effort, if you will."

The Riverside Crossing property includes upscale restaurants, retail shops and a movie theater. Tiger said the Nation has planned to diversify their holdings, and the location is convenient to their Riverside casino.

They plan to hire a management firm and use the full resources of the Creek Nation to improve the shopping center, Tiger said.

Deputy Ed Pierce of the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office said that the property was the first lot up at auction Tuesday morning.

Word is that there were NO OTHER bidders. According to Deputy Ed Pierce (above), it sounds like another of those done deals, whereas no one else knew about the auction. Different sources are also stating there is more involved than $11,500,000.00 as being reported. How about $20,000,000? Now where is that figure coming from, George and MCN Council Members? Where is George going to get that kind of funding? Tell us, it's the citizens' money you planning to spend. You didn't even have the consideration to publish your agenda, as required on procedures of the NC, to be informative & transparent to the citizens. Those types of actions make it harder for us to trust you or believe you. Truthfully, a lot of the rental spaces are EMPTY in that River Walk.

New Omniplex Multi-purpose building has been shut down as of 5:00pm, 4-10-2012 until further notice..
Executive Order 12-03 from George (excerpt).:

PURPOSE: .......... to uphold fiduciary duties to protect the general welfare of the citizens and property of the Nation.

FINDINGS: 1. George has consulted with engineering & construction experts who have determined that the strength & structural integrity of the multi-purpose building has been compromised during its construction & completion, and some of the materials used to complete the building are of substandard quality which need to be replaced.
2. Thorough review of all construction & materials used to complete the multi-purpose building should be completed by structural engineers & construction experts to ensure that the building is safe for our citizens and the general public.

No person shall be allowed in the building except for structural engineers, construction experts, and designated individuals that will be assessing the structure and making recommendations.
It is unknown if the assessment & recommendations will be completed by the date of the Festival but we will be kept informed.

It sounds fishy to us. Is it under "warranty"? Wonder what brought this on. Cracked ceilings & walls, leaks or what? It also sounds as if the "experts" have already been chosen and have already made their assessments. Probably some contractor friends, or will George go the way of proper bidding process? Just maybe someone from previous administration need to keep their eyes and ears open because this could turn into a "slam-dunk" AGAINST them for revenge, just to make someone look bad, the way George & pals like to operate. Sorry, the guy can't be trusted and must always be watched. Pretty sad.

More information is needed about the "CONFRONTATION" between Johnna Townsend, Francis Tiger's daughter, Chief Tiger and Cherrah Quiett. It happened at the Mound before Regular Session NC Meeting last Saturday, March 31, 2012.

The Mound is a public place and outbreaks of this nature involving Chief Tiger, Ms. Quiett and two other women was not appropriate for our Nation.

This is nothing less than SEXUAL HARASSMENT from Chief Tiger. Johnna Townsend is a single mother that didn't have a job and Chief Tiger built her up in public, bragging about the great job she is doing, how much money she has raised for MCN and now we hear he has fired her?

SEXUAL HARASSMENT is a Federal Crime and not even Chief Tiger is exempt from Federal Law.

Look's like the UKB is not content to confine its gaming operations to NE Oklahoma. UKB apparently planning to expand to the SC coast, not too far from Hilton Head. Should M(C)N be making similar plans to expand to new markets?

It certainly looks like the locals are supportive.

"HARDEEVILLE (SC) — Jobs have always seemed elusive in impoverished Jasper County on South Carolina’s southern tip near Savannah.

Residents have waited decades for a $500 million container port to be built on the South Carolina side of the Savannah River. And a retail complex requiring state incentives could have meant 2,500 jobs but was scuttled by lawmakers.

Now, local officials are pinning their hopes on a proposal for an upscale resort, shopping and entertainment complex that could create upward of 4,000 jobs.

“We’ve been shooting at the hoop for a long time, and we’re still hoping to score,” said Bronco Bostick, who has been mayor of Hardeeville for four years and on the town council for 16.

The challenge is that the complex proposed for the Hilton Head Lakes development about two miles off Interstate 95 will include a casino — something developers say is crucial for its success but also might be a roadblock to getting needed approval from Gov. Nikki Haley.

Such approval is needed under the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act that would govern the casino operation. The casino would be operated by the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians, which would own the land on which the casino is built, said Joe Brinn, managing partner for the development.

Plans call for what developers hope will be designated a four-star hotel with an upscale indoor shopping arcade, golf and a convention center that can seat 2,000 people.

The casino “is the engine that makes the train run. It’s the driving force,” Brinn said. “It’s not a huge part of it, but it’s the central thing that will make it work. Without it, you couldn’t put together an entertainment resort like this.”

According to an analysis put together for the developers, the impact of the resort would be $270 million annually for the state’s $15 billion tourism industry.

1st item on agenda : Veto override vote on George's veto of Sam's NC resolution REGARDING KIALEGEE.
Lot of discussion/comments. Nichols spoke up well with reasons to override, and last to speak on issue,
NONE OTHER THAN OLE GEORGE.
NC FAILED TO OVER RIDE THE VETO 10 YES & 5 NO. They need 12 to override.

2nd item on agenda: $250,000 donation to OKC Indian Cultural Center. NOT ON AGENDA. I'm certain it was the usual intention of waiting until the Pre-Agenda session to insert the legislation.
Not any discussion, EXCEPT OLE GEORGE WENT TO PODIUM TO POINT THE NC INTO THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
Bill passed 14 Yes - 2 No.

At this point I left. No purpose in the NC having public meetings. All pre-ordained if ole George is going to be there to intimidate and speak up for all legislation that comes up for a vote that he personally wants passed. Showboating? Yes.

Tired of our government corruption? Only our own citizens can end it. Not the feds or BIA.

Do citizens know that our government officials can steal all they want from us and there is nothing we can do about it?

I’ve heard it said many times on this site that when the U.S. government gets tired of all the corruption that is being perpetrated on the citizens of the Creek Nation, they will say enough is enough, and the “feds will come in and take it over.” No way. Our elected officials can steal all the money they can get their hands on, and as long as the citizens don’t stop them, and they are squared away with the IRS, they are good to go. Remember? We’re sovereign, and what we do within the borders of our Nation is no else’s business.
