MCN Publications & Publicity - Who Pays & for What? Why?
After several days of hearing about the "INAUGURATION" issue published by "Dreamcatcher Magazine", finally got a copy yesterday. You've probably all received your copy by now. (Company from Norman, OK) Mailed under MCN's postage permit, Stigler OK.
Now, tell us WHAT IS IT"? IT DOESN'T MEAN A HILL OF BEANS, as it doesn't identify anybody. Guess those close-up pictures are George Tiger's friends. Its all lost on us since we don't know who's who. I guess they assume we should be completely knowledgeable. But it isn't good journalism.
It's a very slick publication. Now, did the MCN pay for printing and postage? Total waste and just an example of their manner of thinking. Spend, spend & spend some more.

The Muscogee Creek Nation should be renamed to MEKKO TIGER NATION.
Most people are tired of him already. He never talks straight, always in 'riddles and I'm going to's.' He's still campaigning. Guess he's campaigning with our $$$$$ for a job with the white government or a news anchor.
They do criminal background checks. He should think again.

From what I can see of the so called MEKKO TIGER is he is insecure. I agree the publication of the magizine was a wast of money and yes we are tired of hear and seeing Tiger in the news. Also noted how he continues to put down A.D. in articles about what he didn't do, once again that your ludicrious opioin. Many of us see the good AD brought to the tribe and will always see him as a great Leader and Mekko of Creek Nation.
A person who has any type of leaderships skills,self respect, morals and are confident with themselves obviously do not be little those who foot steps they follow. Remember MEKKO what comes around goes around. I am sure after your 4 years are up (we are counting the days) and the next real Chiefs step in to office, they surely will not remind us of your daily faults!

What is going on at MCN?
Why aren't the sponsors and $$ amounts on the agendas?
Why so many secrets in our "transparent" goverment promised by Chief Tiger?
Did Chief give the $3.2 million to Kialegee already?
What is the chief's budget for giveaways?
What is the 2nd chief's budget for giveaways?
What authority does Jeff Fife have? Can he hire and fire or merely tell Roger what to do?
Why is Nelson Johnson (MCN Gaming Commissioner)& co-owner of Rocket Gaming given authority to buy Rocket Slot Machines while he MCN Commissioner? Are George & Roger getting a piece of this pie too?
Anytime the NC is called about their meetings, sponsors, amounts the answer is always the same, "you are welcome to attend the meetings, but if the council goes into executive session you will be asked to leave."
TRANSPARENT?
This administration and legislature are in fact very 'transparent'.
It is obvious that citizens ARE NOT IN THE LOOP.

The following Email sent to jslane@muscogeenation-nsn.gov, at the request of the Muscogee Nation Communication Department asking for suggestions for updating their website to serve a practical and useful purpose.
Please consider designing a webpage for citizens to interact with their elected officials. Our elected officials have resisted having anything in place to facilitate an open and an on-going relationship with us. Citizens’ request for information has always been for them to put the responsibility on the citizens to chase them down for it. We need a method in place that guarantees that citizens will have information when they need it.
I expect that our elected officials will not approve putting it on the MCN website, and if they did, that they don’t have to use it. They know too, as we do, that there is nothing anyone can do about that.

To anonymous: Have you received any replies from Communications? The entire tribe and the 3 branches should know by now that if there was better communicating from the government to us, there wouldn't be any NEED for websites like this one.
Of course, if we knew their information was truly truthful and completely transparent. That's probably wanting too much though.

It seems that the National Council and the Chief need to be reminded of their constitutional duties.
Look in Article VI, Section 7, subsection d: "All expenditures of tribal funds shall be a matter of public record open to all the citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation at all reasonable times."
Anything that the National Council spend on is public record for the people of the Creek Nation.
In case anyone wonders what the National Council can do, let's spell that out right now:
Article VI, Section 7:
The national Council shall have the power (subject to any restrictions contained the Constitution and laws of the United States of America) to legislate on matters subject to limitations imposed by this Constitution as follows:
(a)To promote the public health and safety, education and welfare that may contribute to social, physical well-being and economic advancement of citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
(b) To negotiate with Federal, State, and local governments and others.
(c)To mange, lease, prevent the sale of, dispose or otherwise deal with tribal lands, communal resources or other interest belonging to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation or reserved for the benefit of such Nation.
(d) To authorize and make appropriations from available funds for tribal purposes. All expenditures of tribal funds shall be a matter of public record open to all the citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation at all reasonable times.
(e) To enter contracts on behalf of the Nation with any legal activity that will further the well-being of the members of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
(f)To employ legal counsel
(g)To borrow money on the credit of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and pledge or assign chattels of future tribal income as security therefore.
(h) To lay and collect taxes within the boundary of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation's jurisdiction from whatever source derived.
(i)To create authorities with attendant powers to achieve objectives allowed within the scope of this Constitution.
(j) To exercise any power not specifically set forth in this Article which may at some future date be exercised by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
To the National Council,
Please stop passing stupid laws that don't make sense and are not in your constitutional power to do so.
Any dime that is spent on a pencil, the people have the right to know where that pencil was bought and which account it came out of.
Not recognizing another branch, director, other state laws, and such are completely time wasters and only used for political stunts and ego stroking.
Please note, that the National Council should not be allowed to name the Attorney General since that is an office of the Executive Office.
I'm not going to call out Frank Coachman just yet but the other 17 members are probably the most ignorant and untrained bunch of baboons running aorund the complex.

He found himself in the same situation and said "Well that may be the law, Now lets see them enforce it" your statements are correct but King RAT Tiger doesn't give a crap about your laws. Now lets see you enforce them. He has the courts,the Light Horse, the AG, and the National Council in his hip pocket, now how are you going to make him do anything?? Mike Coon is no longer a loyal subject of Tiger's. He has been telling the truth about Tiger in public places and the truth is not pretty.
To keep the Coon family in check, MR. KEN DAVIS is likely to be terminated very soon.
(VOC is putting this under Publicity because that is the simple reason Tiger has been parading ExPOW Mr. Phillip Coon at some important functions, local & state, using him but the Coons didn't realize that. We can see, but it's always harder to see when we are also seeking recognition. Another connection: Isn't Lucy Spaulding (Tigerette) is ex-wife of Mike Coon?

It's been said a long tine ago that worthless Mike Coon would be replacing Ken Davis. Davis has has helped a lot of MVSKOKE Veterans receive benefits entitled to them and Coon sure as hell couldn't do the same for those entitled to their benefits he is an idiot! That rides around on his Dad's coat tail. Phillip Coon isn't the only Creek that fought in the wars there are many more that needs to be recognized too!

Mike isnt the wotko riding Phillips tail, so is Judy Arron's boyfriend in health Robert Coffey he was in charge when they brought in the problem that is occurring now, the current guy in health was charged with fixing this mistake because it cost the nation well over 4 million dollars to bring in and it has been a failure but he wasn't to blame because he was demoted because of this, the current person resigned because it was too messed up and he didn't want any part of this! Robert Coffey lives with Phillip coon and rides his tail all the time he is a joke, pay attention people tiger nation is a bunch of has beens and never will be outside our nation

Speaking of "communications"; is it my computer or communications. We don't seem to have a "Home" page anymore. when I try to bring it up, it takes a very long time and then when it does show it is only titles of each executive department. nothing else. Is the MCN website undergoing a change or what is the problem? This has been going on for about a month. Is anyone wlse having the same problem?

It seems that George Tiger is doing what he promised and creating jobs. Gerald Wofford is no longer manager of communications.I was surprised to come into work this morning and hear that they were bringing in someone else. Well, I guess I better get on my knees if I want my childre to get a job at the tribe. They're in middle school but I think they have enough education to be over qualified for a position. Any one know who took Gerald's spot?

That department wasn't in his pockets until he fired almost everyone there. Then moved those left into a cubby hole in trade and commerce. Some of people left are great professionals but when you so co-workers wiped out in one fell swoop.Some of them were even award wining journalist, but they embarassed GT so they had to go. Now the Communications manager who kissed Tiger butt has been reassigned as sports advisory for the nation (WTF), I guess he was such a relic they didnt't want to fire him because he's been for twenty years (Sure didn't stop them from attacking Virgina). I am all for raising the standards of the various departments to serve the people, but Tiger has gone to town with the staff there. Funny tho because he left some major dead weight, the TV could just be cut right out bet that would save a ton. And why does any one department need an IT employee when the tribe has a whole damn IT crew??? Oh well, looks like you have to employee ten yo's yo's to have two decent decent employees, that seems to be the general formula for the nation.
