REVIEW of Tiger's 1st 45 Days in Office (+)
New topic, as requested by REVIEWER.
VOC New Topic, please.
It's that time. With the first 45 days of the administration gone, let's review and see how the Tiger administration is doing so far. Remember folks, we're stuck with him for the next 1,414 days. Then we can boot him out. Well, let's hope we can boot him out. If not, then we're doomed.
Since his inauguration on January 2 (remember, the constitution states that the Principal Chief begins his term of office on the first Monday following the New Year).
-Fired Creek and non-Creek employees that neither supported him nor could he benefit from.
-Reinstated appointed positions that are all in his back pocket. Pratt, Wiley, Bigler, Lighthorse Chief, Marshall, etc. May I add that the Euchee tribe is currently working on seeking recognition and now we have a Euchee District Court judge?
-Secretly supports the Kialegee casino being built by the developers who may have funded his and Roger Barnett's campaign.
-Received a pay increase from $100,000 to $125,000 while the employees have yet to receive a pay increase.
-Reinstated the chartered communities (but can't give back the money like he may have promised)
-Talked with the democratic caucus of the Oklahoma legislature in which he talked about the Indian liason position, the museum and about Oklahoma being "Native America." None of this pertains to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation directly. Oh and how he hopes to work with Gov. Fallin who has reportedly refused to speak with Tiger and his administration and is supporting the lawsuit from the Attorney General's office on the Kialegee.
-Is still looking for qualified people to fill positions. Positions that neither pay a good amount or are being held by already competent and qualified individuals.
The good news is that the tribe is still there.
Did anyone else get the propaganda sent out by his office? I didn't get just one, two, or three but I got FOUR pictures of George Tiger to use for toilet paper when the world ends and I need something to wipe my cepo.
Least we can say that he still "walks in two worlds and the people have spoken."
He may have been worried too cause I saw him in Bristow this past weekend and boy did he look like someone got him spooked.

And George TIger is carrying on an affair with Johnna Townsend.

Who gives a rat's-patooty? The only one that should be concerned with that accusation is his wife.

This is what is meant by not having any good morals or good character. I believe those two characteristics are very important for leaders to possess. Otherwise, if they are lacking, it makes them lie to you, steal from you, be on the take from others, etc. That's why it does matter. I want leaders who are truthful and TRANSPARENT, which is what George has said repeatedly.

I will double check the Chief's pay increase, but I thought it went to $150,000.00.

I see George Tiger with Johnna Townsend eating at Ike's together and eating at Kirby's together all over town spending intimate time together. I guess he can afford a mistress now with what he is making off the tribe.
Reply to this
Sure he can afford it. He lives in his wife's house that she got for free when she worked at CN Housing.
That house is not his, it's hers.
His car itsn't his, it's the tribes.
He ownes nothing.
And the devil owns his soul.

How the hell did Frances Tiger get an Indian home when she is only 1/8 Creek?
Reply to this
The same way Gary Huggins kid's got housing, She worked at CN housing. Thats one of the perks for housing employees you get to jump ahead of the more deserving.

You know... I shouldn't even waste my time on your comment but it bugs me... Gary Hudgens kids got housing because they put their names on the list around the age of 18. One of them is married with two kids and had been for years before he got his house. Not to mention they had their own land... I guess being on the list for about 10 years isn't a long enough wait... It bugs me that no one is ever concerned with the fact that those that get houses can't seem to take care of them or afford them... and that the term "Creek Nation house" conjers up visions of the ghetto and plumeting house prices to anyone outside of the nation and many within.. One sure way to destroy the prices in a neighborhood... put in Creek Nation homes... so sad but true...
Reply to this
Their names were not only on the list but moved up the list somehow. They are not even half bloods and yet there are many full bloods and elderly at that who don't have an Indian home and have been on the list a lot longer than 10 years. Ghetto is your opinion since we have inspectors to make sure these houses are kept in shape. oh yeah Hudgens was an inspector but lost his job because he wasn't doing it and taking kick backs. maybe you are talking about the houses he was supposed to inspect. until they are paid for creek nation housing is responsible for the upkeep so again we find they are lacking in their duties, surprise, surprise.
Reply to this
Not to mention the many, and I mean MANY, elders that died waiting to have their houses rehabbed or new ones built.

You forgot to say how long GARY HUDGENS was on the waiting list. ALSO you forgot to mention that he was working in the MCN HOUSING DIVISION DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT under JERRI BERRYHILL when his cousin that accepts applications approved his name to get a house and its kind of funny that HE and his TWO children got their houses at the same time!!!! THATS THREE HOUSES IN THREE YEARS.

You all are dilusional... Stupid Stupid Stupid people... I would say ignorant but that would be a lie...
None of you apparently know any of the FACTS... if so please share them in print form....
Creek Nation housing IS ghetto... they do not inspect... I have three neighbors right now that are Creek Nation homes... all of their yards are terrible, cars everywhere, trash... I've called to complain about it... nothing has been done. They don't care.... Creek Nation is a only going to be as good as it's Citizens... Since it apparently sucks what does that say about you??
Reply to this
see there you go, if you were somebody they would be out today but your just one of us stupid sucky people, there i said it and i ain't lying, that believe in our tribal system.

She's actually one-half. Amazing how her kids shake shells and parade around in their clothing and call George Tiger "dad" when they're more white than Indian.
Reply to this
Hasn't it been said that ole' George isn't all Creek or all Indian, having quite a bit of "white" blood? What are you, George?
Reply to this
She is not a half blood or even a full citizen. She couldn't run for council a few years back because she is not a full citizen. She's 1/128.
Don't you recall while george was campaigning he would introduce her, "This is my wife, Francis, A CREEK CITIZEN" he didn't say a (full Creek Citizen) as he ephasized himself by saying, "I am a full-blood Muscogee Creek."
She cannot run for elected office but the Muscogee Creek Women's Association with Cherrah Quiett as Chairperson elected her as the "Creek Woman of The Year" in 2009. Guess who nominated her? Yep, her husband George Tiger. Are you supprised
Reply to this
I always heard she was half and her ex-husband was white.
Reply to this
And not to forget one of her white daughters got volunteer of the year the following year. What did she volunteer for other than for ole George?
Reply to this
Frances Tiger is no woman of the year she is no leader. She is just a jealous old bag of bones with thin white woman lips and long stringy greasy hair that needs to be washed. George is going to leave her for Johnna Townsend soon. I would to Frances acts like a man.
Reply to this
Wow!
George sure is a hunk-a-burning-love. Every womans dream.
Francis knew what she was getting when she hooked-up with george, so guess she deserves what she got. But, if it wasn't for Francis and her kids, george wouldn't be chief.

BURNING IS RIGHT.
BURNING IN - - - - WITH HIS HODIDDYHO.

I agree with your comments, but I am curious as to how one ACTS LIKE A MAN. Is it because Frances has a job and has been the bread winner since she married him? Tell me.

I am glad that Creek Nation is still here but for how long? The Chief did get a pay increase from $100,000 to $150,000. I heard the council is getting a pay increase from $35,000/year to $50,000/year. Is this true? There are full time employees working at the tribe and working 40 hours a week for less pay then $35,000 or even $50,000. The council members don't come to work from 8 to 5 every day and some of them have another job. Is this fair to the employees? Someone once told me that having a Legislative Branch is expensive. I guess so!!! Now we have a legislative branch that is in the hands of the Principal Chief. Can they not stand on their own two feet to decide what is good for the tribe? I feel sorry for the employees that are working at the tribe not knowing when and if they get to maintain their jobs. You know George has a lot of political favors to fulfill. One thing I can say for the last former Chiefs (Beaver and Ellis) they didn't come in firing a lot of employees and look at them they got to serve two terms. Bill Fife fired a lot of employees and he only served one term. George you might want to reconsider your firing tactics if you want to be a two term chief. Someone once told me that the employees can make you or break you when you run for office. GEORGE THIS IS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!!!!

In the outside business world, it is very well known that employees can take down a company with their actions. It can be bad customer service, which is of utmost importance in any endeavor, even our tribal departments. If employees aren't treated right by their superiors, they will not perform at their best. Fair treatment, fair pay and appreciation. Simple explanation but true. Yes, George should beware.

Jerry McPeak. During the campaign he said he wouldn't and couldn't work for George the thief.
Now he's bashing the state on behalf of george.
Guess McPeak believes George will take care of him.
Reply to this
Just goes to show you what people will do for money. Now you know what it takes to buy McPeak.
Reply to this
That's inaccurate. I talked to Jerry about this stuff before the election. He had good things to say about both candidates. I didn't. Jerry is likely much like me and is encouraged by the Tiger administration at this point.
I hope that I was wrong about George, and, so far, he is proving me wrong. I will be happy to be wrong. Let's hope he keeps doing it. Also, given are Second Chief, let's make sure George takes his vitamins and gets a good night's sleep.

ENCOURAGED?
Encouraged by people loosing their jobs to be replaced by unqualified people?
If you are encouraged, you are correct, you are wrong and so is McPeak.
How can he be a State Representative and in charge of the MCN Tax Commission. That is a conflict.
Reply to this
I was an 8 year supporter of AD and have been anti-Tiger. It's naive to think that people didn't lose their job under his administration. Some turnover happens with each administration.
Some of the people that Tiger has brought in are encouraing to me and he's not publicly stepped on his dingaling yet.

I've tried checking into how many employees were terminated when Chief Ellis came in. I have been told it was two.
But we have to remember Ellis was the 2nd Chief under Perry Beaver, and they were both familiar with work histories of certain employees.
That doesn't apply to George. His meter was "Did they campaign against him or for him?" Did not care one bit if they were good and qualified employees.

I don't know who McPeak supported but someone made a statement earlier that George doesn't own a car he drives a tribal vehicle. I've seen his vehicle and it does't have a CREEK NATION TRIBAL EXEMPT TAG. How did he get a regular Creek Nation Tag for his tribal vehicle, Mr. McPeak? All other tribally owned vehicles have an exempt tag. Does George not want anyone to know where he goes in his vehicle? Just wondering!
Reply to this
George usually drives a grey suburban with a license plate that said National Council at the bottom. Does he drive a different vehicle?
Heard he was staying the night at johnnas house to save money from driving back and forth to bristow.
Reply to this
George doesn't have to save money. He has complete control of tribal money.
He merely has to say to Pratt "show me the money" and it will be so.
We will never know what goes on in our tribe.

@OP-Reviewer:
We are Doomed when we allow people to corrupt MCN.
Greasing those Political Skid makes a world of difference.
If the proper people were in the 'Hire & Fire' positions, MCN would not have positions going unfilled for many months at a time or incompetent people working for The MCN (decades before the present administration took office).
The Propaganda Machine seems to be working very efficiently for the present administration. How do you combat a 'Bully Pulpit' ?

You people must have nothing better to do that sit around your computers and gossip.
It's good to see upstanding FULL BLOODED CREEKS such as yourselves are doing the BEST YOU CAN for the tribe.
You people sound so entitled, righteous and judgmental and more or less pious.
And, no, this is not Johnna.
Reply to this
Thank you from a full blooded creek who is doing the best i can for the tribe, wannabe Johnna. documents have been presented and are available for most of what is being stated. I have to admit though I know nothing of Johnna's affairs, except one, so I am mum on that situation.
Reply to this
You know-reading that George and Johnna are sneaking around town with each other only validates my untrusting of her long time ago-yeah she was Jason Nichols manager during the campaign and I really did not trust her at all-it's a shame he put so much trust in her as he might have won with someone else, trustworthy, true and loyal.
Well I'm not shocked by all the crap goIng on now that George is in office. The Kialegee casino deal will come back around to bite him and Roger soon enough. Some of us have boxes full of documents and papers and notes that we have saved over the years and just might have what the City of BA and State of Ok are looking for. Funny twist it's Cherahs new mother in law to be that's involved in this mess-funny but not unexpected.
So how is the River Spirit Casino working out for you George? Got enough lackey's working there to help you out or is that Dir of Finance just too tough for you? Please don't tell me you now have him in your pocket too! His bat swings for your team if your interested.
Be sure you don't sell your soul just to build your Hotel. Male sure those numbers are right they are giving you-he is a deceiving young man!!!

Johnna was NOT Jason's Campaign manager!! She may have THOUGHT she was, but as a lot of people know she is DELUSIONAL and it was all in HER head!! She was NEVER named, selected or even considered it.

Saw Chief Tiger has appointed Paula Willits for GOAB.
Does she have a Bachelors degree as required by national council law?
Will her education level be discussed in executive session only?
Reply to this
Yes, she does. She has a bachelor of business administration from Langston University from UCAT, as per her biographical information in the creek newspaper.

Great!
Looks like Speaker Alexander wants to follow tribal law.

DRUG TESTS.
If your salary is paid with Federal Funds, (which most employees at the complex are) the Federal Goverment REQUIRES drug testing.
The chief, 2nd chief, national council, council employees salaries are not paid with federal funds and therefore are not required to take drug tests.
Although we are a sovereign nation, we must obey FEDERAL LAWS.
It would be to the best interest of the nation if the elected ones would set an example by complying with the law.
If the chief and 2nd chief have BAD CREDIT personally, the tribes credit rating is lower and the interest rates will be higher on loans the tribe may need, if allowed to borrow at all.
All of these things have a larger impact on the tribe than the elected ones have shared with us.
