Number 1: Kialege should be paying the nation 3.2 million dollars instead of the nation paying them. The casinos are not going to be able to fund the nation when they spend money like that.

Taking care of many smaller groups is working for this administration and legislature.
That is how they won the election.
Promising that gaming monies will be returned with larger payoffs to the 'gaming communities' had them working feverously during the election.
Take the Yuchi people, nothing this side of murder will stop them from supporting Chief Tiger.
Now, the Kialegee 347 citizens will feel the same.
Chief Tiger is not a Chief for the Nation, he is a small group Chief.
Those of us without a community are not important to this group of leaders becase as individuals we have only one voice.

I agree with your comment. Chief Tiger took an oath to uphold the Constituion of the Creek Nation for all creek citizens not just a handful of citizens that belong to communities. If the tribe continues to support the communities by giving them part of the gaming funds, then how is the tribe going to operate. Are the citizens going to have to go to the communities for assistance? I don't belong to a community because I don't live within the boundaries of the Creek Nation which isn't fair to other members that don't belong to a community because they only have Creek Nation for assistance while members of communities have their community and the Creek Nation. Does that seem fair? Tribal funds are for all creek citizens not just the communities. What about the communities that don't have economic development? Are they asking for large amounts of money? The only reason the communities want their money is so their board members can have BIG PAY CHECKS and no one can tell them how they can spend their money. Remember George has a lot of promises he as to fulfil at the expense of the Tribe and the citizens.

Would those talking the talk be willing to say this in public instead of being said in secret. If in fact any of this is true, then why wouldn't the sayer should notify the entire NC and repeat what was said. If the reliable citizens are so reliable why isn't there fact finding by the NC. Sounds like a gossip session to me, until the truth comes out. This is only fuel for the fire, my friend.

I thought George lived in Sapulpa now. Is it possible that the house would be in Okmulgee?

George's name is not on Sapulpa, Bristow or Creek district absentee list. He ran for Chief that year. His wife Frances Root was registered at an address in Bristow in 2007. I wonder if the house which has been said he will be turning over to Luann Bear is a Creek house, with restrictions. Ms Bear is a registered member of the Seminole Nation, not qualified for any Creek housing. Wonder who the new housing director is.

Chief George needs to give that $30,000,000 back to those communities that were mistreated.
Take it from the permanent fund if you have to, but give it back.

An example of the great spending was $10,000 to those two artists to fly to France to an art exibit. I got a lot out of that trip didn't you? Oh for the sake of equality. Can't find out where George lives. He is incognito - he's the media chief, the mystic leader of our nation. He lives under every slimy rock and in every sewer.

George has to remember he and the National Council took an oath to uphold the Constitution. By the Constitution no funds can be appropriated without the consent of the National Council. It seems to me that George thinks he is the only Chief Creek Nation has had...I think there were a lot of other Chief's besides him. I guess he thinks he is like the President of the United States and has a Lighthorse Officer escort him everywhere. Saw a picture of him in the Creek Nation Newspaper with the Lighthorse Officer behind him. Is he afraid to go anywhere by himself..does he have a guilty conscience because of everything he has done since he's taken office? I hope the people who voted for George can hold their heads HIGH when the tribe comes falling down!!!!

OATH, SMOATH!! Taking an oath to uphold the constitution of MCN doesn't mean squat to them.
They took that oath when they were on the council and still fought us on our election for constitutional amendments.
Having his FBI SUV with windows no one can see into and a uniformed lighthorseman gives the "appearance" of importance.
The man is a media man and nothing more. He has no decision making ability. We have seen that with the wishy washy talk about the Kialegee Tribal Town casino. "UH, duh, they didn't go through the process." He won't even take a stand on whether their casino would harm Creek Citizens.
Money, Money, Money is the only motivator Tiger understands. Honesty, integrity, loyalty, law abiding, faithful, ethical and all things good, are not understood by him.

Attorney General Pruitt Sues Kialegee Tribal King in Federal Court
Lawsuit claims tribe violated state gaming compact; seeks injunction
OKLAHOMA CITY – Attorney General Scott Pruitt today submitted a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Tulsa against Kialegee Tribal King Tiger Hobia and others to stop a proposed casino in Broken Arrow. The court will officially file the case Wednesday.
The lawsuit, submitted in the Northern District of Oklahoma, seeks to stop the tribe and construction company Florence Development Partners from continuing construction of the proposed Red Clay Casino, citing the tribe’s failure to get federal approval of a lease for the property. The absence of lease approval and lack of jurisdiction over the land violates the state compact’s requirements for Indian gaming, Pruitt said.
“No one, tribal or otherwise, is above state or federal laws,” Pruitt said. “The Kialegees do not have the authority to pick and choose which steps to follow in the federal or state approval process of establishing casinos. The complaint filed today is to protect the interests of Oklahoma and its citizens, and ensure the rule of law is being followed.”
The 21-page filing names as defendants King Hobia, Florence Development Partners, First Warrior Thomas Givens and members of the tribe’s business committee

I would like to know when the Hotel will break ground.
I would like to know if it's true they used a lot of money out of the general fund to pay down the loans with Wells Fargo for River Spirit debt.
Also-why did they move all the 401k money for River Spirit to BOK from Nationwide....a debt achieving strategy? Reduce debt with General Funds then give them investment business so we might get a loan for the hotel?
Why is there so much sand piled high at the North end of the parking lot? Building up the Mackey Sand Bar so they can pass construction code for hotel?
Who is this director of Finance at the River Spirit Casino? Is he the same one who ran Downstream Casino into the ground and they were getting ready to can him when he came to us? I might be mistaken on that but can someone verify?

The reason that all employment applications have to go through George Tiger is because THAT IS THE WAY HE WANTS IT.
He ponders 3 seconds on each name to decide if the applicant or any of the applicant's family supported him or not. He also decides if the applicant can be bought.

The only answers to your question I know is that the Director of Finance at the River Spirit Casino did work for Downstream Casino before we came to work for River Spirit. Also, some of the general fund money was used to help pay down the debt but this money was paid from funds set aside to help pay on loans that the tribe has. The parking lot on the SE corner of Riverside was built for employees to park before the parking lot was completed. Hope this answers some of your questions.

Well LeAnne one of the reasons that the money went to BOK is that is where James Pratt likes to do business. You will probably see most of the current investment portfolios switched from Merrill Lynch and Bank America back to the advisers that were being used before Mr Pratt was replaced 4 years ago. Most of these advisers dealt with the BOK trust department. Makes one wonder why it was necessary to replace controllers which should not be a political position.

Well I am sad to say that if the rumor is true that Johnna Townsend is having an affair with George and her family knew of it they would all be disappointed and ashamed. They do not condone this type of behavior nor do they support it. Johnna comes from a good family who try very hard to help creek people and and this would be very disappointing news to all of them.

Thomasine Fife in 1997 when she worked for CN Housing filed a 'complaint' against the then Chairman of the Board for sexual harrassment.
Thomasine went to his home to discuss business and he tried to kiss her.

Laughing AT HER!! Not with her!! Can we say Johnna "Alex Forrest" Townsend the Fatal Attraction character!! That is to funny - but IF it's true, she'll go as crazier than that character and he will have deserved it!! But she cannot be trusted around anyone's "man", it has to be a insecurity issue with her. Johnna Townsend and Chief George, I was wondering when the news would come out on them. I just didn't want to think it could happen. So many people that knows Johnna said, just wait she will be after George now and will do anything to get her way. If he was smart....he would have seen her kind coming and kept her at a distance, but he gave her a job and now is dining publicly with her? Innocent or not, a Chief should use discretion when dining with women. Especially women like Johnna Townsend who are users, flakey, irrational,queen of drama, and just wait until she goes balistic and it will happen!!!
