Political Parties, Any one?
VOC, could we get a new topic? (Requested by Curious One Too)
Is it time for our tribe to start using party labels like the white folks?
We can use "Liberal", "Conservative", "Ultra Liberal", "Ultra Conservative", or some such.
Don't bring up Red or White Stick. That is too good for our present day politicians.
This way, a politician could be more easily identified. There are ways to do this. Think about it.

Everything is all TALK! TALK! on here. Now you want to start labeling people, putting them into categories...I'm this,..you're that! I don't like you cause you're a...this or a that. PLEASE!!?! you're wasting your time sitting there in your nice comfy home playing on your computers trying to put people into categories. You said it too, ..just like the este hvtkes. You wanna be like them ? look what they did to us! Man, you ain't any better than them, as a matter of fact you're probably more este hvtke than este cate.

I would say "Look what our own tribal leaders are doing to us". I think the idea is fair. At least we would have an idea of what type of a leader one might be voting for, like: Would they be big spenders; want tribal town casinos within our boundaries; tramp on our Constitution; act like they are white people? You are showing racism in your comments. You have also put that writer in a category.

have you ever heard of Golden Pony or Red Hawk? two casinos within our boundaries that are tribal town owned.

Wonder how ownership of land was determined.
Was it restricted land owned by a MCN Creek citizen or owned by tribal town citizen or owned by someone other than? Was it trust property?
Are the 2 casinos in the same type of ownership category as the Kialegee construction in Broken Arrow? It would certainly be interesting because if things don't come out legally for the Kialegee, then it may impact Golden Pony and Red Hawk and their legality. Just wondering.

"Parties" already exist.
They are the "Communities Party" and the "Everyone Else Party." The latter is much larger than the few thousand who are members of Chartered Communities, but the Community Party had a very effective get-out-the-vote campaign. Therefore, they won in 2011. But like all things in politics and nature, there is a natural ebb and flow. The "Everyone Else Party" will be back on top in a few years. Maybe sooner.
