What We Want, Regardless - Who Can Do It?
VOC is listing some issues that have been lacking in our government. Who of the candidates do you think can best deliver because they actually care about the tribal citizens? Most of the issues deal directly with the NC.
1. ACCOUNTABILITY for their actions. Own up to whatever it is.
2. TRANSPARENCY in their dealings (in our government). Too many unnecessary Emergency & Special
Meetings and Executive Sessions, at times not according to the laws. Unnecessary Emergency & Special
meetings become costly because of the mileage claims. TELEVISE all your meetings.
3. WILL, not just WILLING, to work with other branches of our government.
4. VOTING RECORDS to be posted on website immediately after each meeting.
5. POST AGENDAS more timely so citizens can plan ahead if they would to attend any meetings.
6. HIRE QUALIFIED PEOPLE, not who gave you most votes. Ask citizens if they have any names to consider.
Don't just ask the rep from certain districts for a nomination or from friends & colleagues.
7. FOCUS more attention on EMPLOYEES and appreciate the good employees. By the same token, hold
them accountable. With qualified supervisors and directors, this can be done. Not by nepotism or tokenism
or friendships.
8. SPECIAL APPROPRIATIONS. Stop those vote-buying giveaways. Have the Social Services or some other
line item for this, not dependent on friends on the council. We give funds to Towns, Cities, non-tribal
organizations, and the list goes on. Recently heard that racism against our Creeks and other Native
Americans is rampant in some of the small towns, especially South of I-40, but we just go on rewarding
them.
9. READ THE MCN CONSTITUTION. UNDERSTAND IT. ABIDE BY IT. Bottom line.
You are welcome to add your own list.

I spent almost 3 hours last night watching the Omni Plex debate of last week where Tiger & Barnett failed to appear.
This event was the first organized presentation where the CITIZENS ACTUALLY WERE ABLE TO ASK QUESTIONS and it would certainly have been helpful if Tiger & Barnett had answered questions BUT THEY ESCAPED because it was evident they did not want to answer hard questions.
The debate revealed:
Tiger & Barnett were responsible for singlehandedly preventing the Creek Nation from signing a Tobacco Compact with Oklahoma, this irresponsible action by elected officials should not be rewarded with reelection or for that matter election to any office.
Tiger & Barnett also delayed the completion of our Tulsa River Spirit Casino costing all CReek Citizens MIllions in interest.
A very important question was asked about the Campaign Finance legislation and David Nichols told the truth the LEGISLATION WAS KILLED BY GEORGE TIGER and did not become law. Tiger wants to take money under the table and not have to report to anyone.
All present who were running for Chief and rd Chief along with the council candidates expressed support for our veterans GEORGE TIGER DODGED THE DRAFT and all veterans should dodge him on the ballot.
Employee raises was discussed and interesting the National Council headed by Tiger and Barnett spent enough money on attorneys (who never won a case) to provide all employees with a bonus.
Additionally all employees could have been given substantial pay increases it this Council led by Barnett and Tiger had stopped the communities unlawful expenditure of 17 MIllion of all our gaming revenue.
Mike Flud told of United States Congressmen and SEnators calling him for advice and help those same officials would not think of calling the likes of George Tiger or Roger Barnett, they have no creditability, no credit and neither can even pass the investigation for a simple gaming license.
Our education system is most important BUT TIGER NOR BARNETT ever finished a college degree.
One questioner asked about women in high office Mike Flud said that would happen WITH WOMANIZERS GEORGE Tiger AND ROGER BARNETT all women better watch out-----just look a their histories.
More of the Omni Plex DEbate later must go.
ALL PERSONS AT THE DEBATE SHOULD BE ELECTED and all who failed to show should be ignored.

Cont. Comments on Omni Plex Debate:
Comments from those running for election are as follows:
David Nichols: the Courts were right in stopping the expenditure of gaming funds by a few communities when the gaming revenue belongs to all Citizens.
Nichols also said he will support the current operation of our Veterans Dept.(note Tiger will replace Major Ken Davis)Those people who have committed a crime should be prosecuted .Nichols said he will continue to reintroduce the Ethics and Campaign Finance Reporting legislation. (a change in Council Membership will help)
He also wants to return the government to one all the people can be proud of.
Lucien Tiger III: Will not vote for any "Special Appropriations" Will support Veterans. He is not a "yes" man. He wants to publish Council attendance. Wants to gain back the respect our government has lost due to the current National Council. A Council Member should NEVER take any SPECIAL FAVOR! Too many yes people on current Council. Will support education of our young people.
Mike Flud: Wished there had been a real debate(Tiger & Barnett won't answer the hard ?) Asked all to simply look at qualifications - SAID TALK IS CHEAP(Tiger is a talker, but no substance)-Fuld's only promise is to do the best job he can. He has always paid ALL HIS BILLS. He retired after 36 years in education. Said I am HONEST, Trustworthy, and my ethics are beyond reproach. He will improve the Creek Nation's perception outside the Nation. The young people are the future.
Owns his home.
Lewis Hicks: Check our backgrounds for "A PERSON"S HISTORY TELLS WHO YOU ARE" Retired educator, Viet-Nam Veteran. Owns his home. Pays his bills.
Those candidates present who took the time to explain their background and position on our government should be applauded.
NOW WHAT WAS MISSING:
Tiger , Barnett to explain their involvement in the current TOBACCO Scandal, THE BROKEN ARROW CASINO FOR ANOTHER TRIBE, CAMPAIGN ETHICS & FINANCIAL REPORTING, THEIR LACK OF EDUCATION and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS, FAILURE TO FOLLOW OUR CONSTITUTION & LAWS, CRIMINAL CHARGES THEY PLEAD GUILTY TO IN THE PAST (all involved money management)WHY THEY HAVE NOT SUPPORTED THEIR CHILDREN, Why they attempted to derail (and did delay several years) the construction of the River Spirit under Chief Perry Beaver.
Interesting observation Chief Perry Beaver was himself a retired educator, paid his bills and owned his own home BEFORE ELECTED AS CHIEF and his service to the Creek Nation was WITHOUT BLEMISH and he was elected a second term.
TIGER AND BARNETT ARE Notorious IN THEIR BEHAVIOR TOWARD WOMEN, LAW and in short have just generally been leeches and bums off the Creek Nation.
VOTE Accordingly!!!!

Stephanie No 1 - You go girl! You and your child have every right to be supported by that dead beat father..in fact it is a LAW! Your timing was perfect for filing. If DEAD BEAT DAD wins, then for sure you will get your money. Now for the others who have children by DBD take a stand for your children and file that CHILD SUPPORT DOC. As a mother your children welfare and safety should be your number only priority. Besides if he wins, do you really think you will be needed anymore. It will be time to move on. Everyone know he never wanted the responsibility of marriage, children or a family! What a MAN.........

that political party was put on by the flud/hicks campaign. it is illegal to use tribal property for campaign purposes. Im glad that tiger/barnett did not attend, it just shows how they will follow the laws of the nation. flud/hicks and all the others that shows should be ashamed using citizens prop for their gain.

Boo Hoo Boo Hoo. What in tarnation do you think tiger/barnett have been doing all the years they've been down there?
Not only were they using the citizens prop for their own gain (mound building), so if that debate location upsets you, then you too should be ashamed not only because of how they have used tribal property, but their use of us citizens. Now, thats the biggest shame of all.

we will let GOD be the Judge of that

Please don't be blaming God for all these tribal problems. God gives us brains and a thought process to make choices and mistakes on our own. We do wrong and say God, forgive me. And by that, we feel we are in tune with the world. I think not because we did not use the abilities of God-given talents to choose the right thing. My belief.

Was it illegal when the show was put on at the mound early on, how about the forums at all the communities - they are tribal land too?
Tiger & Barnett didn't show up because they wanted all questions to be screened by them personally.
How disrespectful of Barnett to not even reply to the invitation.
Tigers excuse letter for not attending made me want to vomit.
I don't believe he knows how to talk truth. He has lied for so many years that it is his nature.

If a creek nation program is leasing a building, would we not say that is tribal property? I don't know how that works but Flud has a sign in front of one of these properties. Tomorrorw we vote, we hope for the best, only God knows who is the right one for the job.
Go Vote!!! mtvo

I would like to see all proposed legislation in full posted on the MCN website for at least three days before it is voted on and then see the voting records for each.

Looking at the printed material from Tiger's Campaign the following is very noteworthy.
He says he is supported by 4 persons who lost in the Primary Election for Chief.
Let us examine these LOSERS and what they have in common IN ADDITION TO LOSING.
Three have had or now have problems with substance abuse be it street drugs or alcohol, Police authorities are very familiar with them, all are interested in maintaining some source of income from the Creek Nation, none really have any measurable experience in government, they do have experience in abusing our government, they would not know a great leader if one was standing beside each of them and collectively they are each an embarrassment to Indian people.
Now to Tiger's claims, by the way he shares an involvement with police authorities with the above LOSERS along with the following fabrications.
Tiger has been sued for debt so many times there is not room list all those civil charges, He has PLED GUILTY TO A FELONY involving money, he conned many Okmulgee people and received, cars, furniture and cash which was never returned resulting in his moving from Okmulgee to Creek County where he again began his ways and the civil lawsuits began again.
Tiger testified against the best interests of the Creek Nation and its citizens when he supported the building of a Casino to compete with our Casino in Tulsa, Court records reflect 18 million dollars was the prize, Tigers running mate Barnett(also experienced with police custody and civil lawsuits for failure to pay debts)also supported this Casino that is against the best interests of the Creek Nation. ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT WOULD HAVE CHARGED EACH WITH TREASON.
Tiger lists as accomplishments the following he attended Northeastern A&M Junior College, Haskell Indian Nations University and North Eastern State University(probably while dodging the United States Draft)he never completed the requirements for a degree.
Tiger states he has been a member of the National Council BUT here again he drew a paycheck did nothing for the Creek Nation but feather his own pockets.
Tiger was Speaker when he caused the Creek Nation to loose the Tobacco Compact with the State of Oklahoma and now we have lost 2 lawsuits and will have to pay Oklahoma back taxes of $50 MILLION DOLLARS again the Creek Nation Citizens suffer.
Tiger just can not do anything for others only himself and his running mate Barnett is cut from the same cloth.
DO NOT VOTE FOR THESE CON MEN AND THEIVES.

I have studied all campaign material received as an absentee voter concerning the Chief and 2d Chief election.
I have glaring questions as follows:
Why did GEORGE TIGER KILL CAMPAIGN FINANCE AND ETHICS FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS of the Creek Nation?
Why did GEORGE TIGER DODGE ANSWERING HARD QUESTIONS CONCERNING HIS BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
The only answer is for GEORGE TIGER the truth hurts and as a consummate liar he hopes the voter will overlook these character flaws and elect an confessed criminal, admitted womanizer, religious fake and over all unsavory person.
A persons background and history always tell us how that person will perform in the future.
A Tiger cannot change its stripes!
