NC Legislations & Legal Stuff

SC 2010-04.  Former Trade & Commerce Board members Henry Harjo, Dean Hughes, Brett Thomas & Ronnie West, regarding lawsuit against Chief Ellis.  Supreme Court has ended this debacle by denying their appeal.  It surely didn't need a court decision to figure this one out.

Two items on NC's upcoming agenda is laughable, and shows how they throw money at whatever looks like more votes.
NCA 11-168 (GT) Appropriate $5000 to renown artist Dana Tiger so she can go to Paris, France to exhibit her art.
NCA 11-178 (CRidge) To Yatika Starr Fields.Same as Ms Tiger's appropriation.  To exhibit her art at same place.
Those of us familiar with Ms Tiger's prices on her art:  She could  sell one painting and enable her trip herself.  We do know she supports George's candidacy.  One of those "You give me, and I will give you" deals.  We also know the sponsor, Ridge, has been on the same wave-length as GT, as long as she's been there.
Don't know about Fields, but probably about the same.

They need to check Dana Tiger's citizenship - isn't she Cherokee also?? I've seen Cherokee tags on her car.

Could the $10,000 go for medical treatment, heating for elders this winter, school supplies, any number of social services?
Not critizing their art work but many would like paid vacation. Many would like help with funeral bills too.
