Things to keep in mind are the people he will give jobs to. Those will be the ones who are at the forefront of supporting him. There are those who are hanging on to his shirttails from the olden days such as Pickering, Barnett (if he loses), Roger Wiley, Jeff Fife, Daniel Wind and so many other pretenders, pretending to love the tribe while they have remained busy trashing our Constitution. That is my primary reason for opposing G. Tiger as he has been in the tribe so long and has pushed aside the Constitution whenever it served his purposes. Those other supporters are the same as him.

Don't forget Ms Johnna Townsend. It appears George has promised her the world and she bit. She was Jason Nichols' staunchest supporter, now as the old saying goes, the worm has turned. She has turned into George's biggest supporter & promoter, and is appearing with him all over the place. She says George is so much better than Mike Flud.
And before the Omniplex debate, George said he wouldn't attend, and that he was not accepting any more events, he was in Wetumka for a campaign event yesterday. ANOTHER FAT LIE FROM GEORGE, HUH?
She wants you all to believe that its dirty politics to air George's past and what was in the past doesn't mean anything. Apparently, she hasn't really known George as long as a lot of us have and we have observed that the old dog is keeping his old tricks, no new tricks.

Johnna is in for herself, just like George! She wants to be center of attention and if shes not, she will pout, cause a scene and cry victim!! Just wait till she flips out on him or his wife, or her daughters!! She too has a record, thats why it is so easy for her to want evryone to forgive and forget georges past! she has two DUIs...maybe they along with Roger can go pray for each other on thursday night at Preston methodist center since they all want everyone to think they are such good christians!! nope, just a couple of hypocrites, get in trouble, get caught then want to be forgiven! they may as well take ol' Alfred with them, he's no saint either!!

I was forwarded a copy of what Johnna had said on a FB post,
I guess it was on George Tiger's FB wall - it was regarding comments made by Johnna, it read: "I was for another candidate during the whole election working as his campaign manager. I withdrew from that campaign respectively due to differences of opinion".
I was part of Jason's committee, from the beginning. The initial meeting was a lot of supporters and their families and volunteers, Johnna was not one of them. She came along later, I do not remember at any time that she was named as Jason's Campaign manager, by Jason or anyone else!!! (then wanted to be paid for it!) I will say she did work hard, as we all did. But I know that Johnna can be abrasive, pushy, etc..(we all can be) I just figure that's her personality and overlooked it. But the differences were we didn't do it her way, but she was not the candidate running. At the end she started sending out these mass text messages that were rude and uncalled for and everyone felt like pulling back from the campaign committee...she didn't offend one or two, but a lot people. Then she wondered why everyone avoided her!! She left once and came back, left again, then left again then jumped on the Tiger campaign at the last minute. The differences of opinion were that we didn't do things her way!! I tried talking to her and keeping in contact, then I heard she was bad-mouthing all of "us"...so now I'm wondering how she's getting along with all those Tiger supporters that she once talked about, ridiculed, repeated gossip about them and is now sitting in the middle of. How long it will be before she changes again and does the same thing to the Tiger supporters...I learned and wouldn't trust her again! But she hasn't stopped there, she was insinuating one of the girls made a FB comment about her. Then went on to get mad when someone else deleted and blocked her on FB and blamed me for it..I'm leaving her on because she amuses me with all her drama!!

Her original claim to MCN fame was that she knew & was raised with her culture, and that her Uncle Wilbur Gouge taught her so many things, philosophically and culturally. We have learned to read characteristics. We had also heard that at one point, Jason had asked her to stay off websites, especially VOC because she is so antagonizing. Just some stuff heard on the ole Creek grapevine that usually turns out to be true.)

if anyone should know how to follow the the laws of the nation its Mike Flud. But there is one problem, he's supporting the current chief now. So I will not vote for him for the fact that he supports the wrong doing of our nation now by the current cheif. The man has a education, but this tribe needs more than a school teacher leading this tribe

I guess you have been ignoring the results of all the lawsuits filed against the Chief by George & cohorts, which they have lost because the Chief had followed the laws, and George & friends had not. So if Flud is supporting the Chief, it may be because he too knows the laws and will stand up for the tribe by following the tribal Constitution. You'll have to point out the exact wrong doings of the current chief, which you haven't done. Probably because you haven't a case.

He resigned a few years ago. To me, that's quiet dissent on certain issues. However, I'll point out that MANY people support the current Chief on some key issues. His battles with the Council? He's on the right side of that issue. The Council is not supported by the law. His battles with the communities? They were corruptly endangering the status of the gaming ability of the ENTIRE nation with the knowledge and consent of both Barnett and Tiger. What AD did had to be done. Say what you will about AD but you can't say he didn't have the strength to make unpopular decisions.

I think I will go with the educated, constitution following school teacher. Mike Flud will be his own man. Anyone that thinks he will completely rubber stamp the staff is nuts. Once elected, Flud will evaluate the staff and will make changes as required for the betterment of the Nation and his management style. I trust Flud to make the right choices far more than George. Of course George will replace the entire staff with those that can help him steal more. Then we will all be screwed!

Anon, You are correct.
Best evidence is Dana Johnson and her fellow indicted bribe-taker have filed motions to postpone the start of their criminal trials until after January 1.
They are doing so, because they reckon District Court Judge WILEY (if Ol' George happens to win), won't allow them to be tried for accepting bribes from the tobacco mafia.
Bottomline: if the Mvskoke People elect ol'George, its curtains for rightness, honor, truth... and the legitimacy of the Mvskoke government.

Mike Flud has his own platform and opinions. The fact he worked for the current administration doesn't mean he isn't capable of having plans for the tribe formulated by his own brain. He will come in with fresh ideas and employees. He needs employees that are loyal to the tribe. He has the ability to pick his own team. There are many that are ready (and exhausted) to leave the tribes employment. They have been in the line of fire. Chief Ellis has got to be exhausted by the continual attacks of the NC. As a citizen I am appalled by their actionable. Their goal seems to have been attack the chief not attack the problems of the needs of the Nation.

George is a an admitted thief and MIke Flud will pick his own people which is white. we have a deliemma trying to decide whether we want to be robbed blind or taken over by the whites. either way we will have nothing which is a little bit less than what we have now. Pick the best of thw worst. Flud has not yet proven himself to be a thief.

You know as well as any of us that any staff candidates the new Chief makes MUST be approved by the National Council. So, your concern has no validity. at the debate tonight at the Omniplex.
George Tiger on his radio program in Okmulgee said this morning:
He has been invited to attend a debate tonight at the Multi-Purpose Building north of Okmulgee and is UNABLE to attend because of a conflict in his schedule, but wishes the best of success to those attending the debate.
He said his schedule is very demanding at this time and WILL NOT be accepting any other invitations until after the election on November 5, 2011.
WONDER WHERE MR. TIGER FEELS IT MORE IMPORTANT TO BE?
Maybe with Wilmorite Gaming negotiating a new casino with a tribal town!!

You know one of the other "so-called" Creek websites are reporting that the Omniplex debate was held by friends of Mike Flud, and that George Tiger was not invited. George's friends are also liars.
At that debate, a letter from George was read, declining the invitation due to so many other previous commitments.
That website is very friendly to George, and they hate anybody who they feel is opposed to George. Trepp & Mouss are 2 of their regular contributors. If George or his friends had any b***s, they would go to all websites and admit the errors of their reporting. Let's wait for the correction.

What did the guy put on the 'form'? Did that guy really campaign or are you just making unsubstantiated accusations? Regardless, know your laws before you show your lack of knowledge. The law states that any tribal member can use the facility for forums and debates, if all parties are invited. I understand that old George was invited and he turned down the invitation.

If someone is putting on a candidate's FORUM, so they can each present themselves to the voters for questions, then, yes, SHAME ON THEM!!!
You and George are what is wrong with our nation.
George couldn't walk into any bank right now and borrow enough money to buy a $3,000 beater yet he's poised to be the next Principal Chief. And Roger couldn't buy that beater even AFTER he's elected to 2nd Chief.
That says so much about where our Nation is.
Mike Flud is a good man who has served his community in the school system for decades and the Nation in the capacity of Supreme Court Justice for many years. The fact that George gets 10% of the vote is an embarassment.

I wasn't able to go to the forum last night, but I read on the MCN website that we could watch them live. IT said click here at 6:30 and watch the debates. I clicked and NOTHING happened. Anyone know WHY it wasn't working? I'm wondering if someone stopped it?

Even more than the paycheck Tiger wants to fly, fly, fly and rub elbows with the whities in Washington D.C.
Creeks will be a complete after thought for him. He will have his hired hands run the tribe.
He and his bride will be on the big bird in the sky to wherever they want to go - of course in the name of Creek Nation.
He already is showing us how he would be as chief. He will pick and choose who to associate himself with and it won't be us.

People are saying that what George and Little George (Roger) have done in the past shouldn't be an issue but the pattern has been very recent, both working against the Nations dollars by helping a tribal town to build a casino in the Nations boundary Tulsa. that would hurt the Nations revenue. Once in power citizens watch out. Secret meeting were being held and there are monies to be made to acomplish the project. Facts are facts and not mud slinging. Don't think for a second deals will cease. they are being made as I write.Didn't your people teach you to watch out for others? now is your chance to watch out for 70,000 citizens and the elders and children too.

Go to the source, George and Roger, for the facts. We can comment on what we know, but its up to each person to follow up with the right people to verify any information to get the facts. Not hearsay. The case has already been to Federal court, and still unsolved due to the feds uncertainty about tribal rights. Look it up.

George Tiger is one of the most charming, friendly and best speakers many people know.
He will make people feel that he alone can move mountains and has in some instances done some amazing things.
We all know that he will take money from where ever he can, whether he gets caught or not.
Not knowing Mike Flud the way I know George Tiger I must truthfully say that I would never allow George to be in charge of any part of my business that he would have contact with cash money, the control of money, the power to tell others what to do with money, my bookkeepers, managers or women.
That is why I, along with all members of my family will vote for Mike Flud. He is honest. George is not honest.
For George to have control of the "Controller of the Nation", directors, managers, casinos, community funds, federal funds and all other tribal funds scares the heck out of me.
But he sure is a good silver tongued talker.
He is an embarrassment to the Nation. Everywhere one travels, people ask about George Tiger and his reputation of taking that which is not his. PEOPLE KNOW - YOU KNOW - WE ALL KNOW.
George would make the best public relations person ever but we just cannot have him around money.

I received a campaign card from the George Tiger group yesterday wherein it had pictures of the also-rans for chief that were now endorsing Tiger. Actually it looked more like a police photo line-up to me. Just a thought.
(VOC: Can you offer up the names of those also-rans who are endorsing George Tiger? None of us here received the card and we would sure like to know. Thank you.)

What did Alfred Berryhill ever accomplish as 2nd Chief for 8 years. At the forum eight years ago G. Tiger told Alfred that he wouldn't be a do nothing 2nd Chief if he was elected. And, now 2nd Chief is endorsing George the Thief because, he beleives G. Tiger will be the next Chief.
Alfred is as greedy as the next person. I'm sorry I voted for Alfred Berryhill, I thousht he was a better man.

I will NEVER CONSENT to George Tiger as Chief as the government if he were to be elected, since I would be one of the governed and because by my vote for Flud, I am not consenting.
I am not a quitter. I know right and wrong. I know good from bad. I make my choice to be as decent & ethical as I can. With that being said, George too has made his choices to create the personality, lifestyle and wrong-doing. Keep that in mind. George has made his own choices, and for that reason, no one needs to defend him. If you do, then you are just like George.
