Looks like folks who were not going to get to vote by absentee in the November 5th General Election because they didn't get their request in by the earlier deadline will be able to vote absentee, BUT THEY NEED TO ACT FAST!
The below is paraphrased from Agreed Orders issued by the District Court. Note: "Agreed Order" means the Election Board and the Plaintiff voter who was not going to be able to vote in the General Election because he didn't get his absentee ballot request in before the earlier deadline BOTH AGREE this is how it will be done going forward. Also, the below was approved by the District Court and is therefore now the law of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation
Agreed Order and Supplemental Order (paraphrased):
1. Election Board shall re-open the process and accept applications for absentee ballots until October 21, 2011 at midnight. The Election Board shall process all requests for absentee ballots received to date, even if they were sent too late for the Primary.
2. Election Board shall publicize this change to their former policy.
3. Absentee Ballot request forms will be made available for download on the Nation's website.
4. Voters may send their absentee ballot requests to the Election Board by mail, fax, email or by hand delivery.
5. Absentee ballots for the General Election start going out on October 17, 2011. If a request arrives between then and the new deadline of October 21, 2011 at midnight, it will be processed and the absentee ballot sent to the voter by express mail.
6. If you voted absentee in the Primary, and you want to vote by absentee ballot in the General Election, you must still request a General Election absentee ballot before October 21 at midnight.

Finally something is done for the citizens, BUT you know what- it took a citizen to require this action- no elected council member helped when it should have been remedied long ago.
The government is still bogged down by legislators who are only in office for their own benefit THEY REALLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CITIZEN VOTER EXCEPT AT ELECTION TIME all on the General Election Ballot who have ever served as an elected official for the Creek Nation DO NOT Deserve EVEN ONE VOTE they have been hopeless failures, they have harmed the Creek Nation locally, statewide and through out the U.S.
Every person who is currently an elected Council Member who is on the November 5 General Election Ballot except Jennings, Hufft,Proctor, Dornan, Ade and David Nichols has BAD or NO CREDIT, has been CHARGED WITH CRIMES BY THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA and PLEAD GUILTY, fathered children BUT NEVER SUPPORTED THEM, has been sued for bad debts NUMEROUS TIMES, accepted EXPENSIVE GIFTS FROM THOSE DOING Business WITH THE CREEK NATION, has done favors for private individuals TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE CREEK NATION and it just goes on and on and on---

There should be a Citizen of the Year Award and the first one should go to who ever filed the papers in Creek Court to allow all who are eligible to absentee vote to apply and vote.
It is and has been so sad the elected council members did not remedy this horrible denial of citizen's rights long ago.
The truth is 21 of the current members of this council haven't ever studied the government, introduced any meaningful legislation(only giveaways to friends and family) visited with anyone who knows how the government should function resulting in literally millions of dollars $$$$ being wasted on council attorneys who only saw the money, so very sad. They have lost over 10 lawsuits at our expense.
All current council members still on the General Election Ballot will not get my vote and should not receive the vote of any citizen wishing to clean up Creek Nation's sewer of a council.
The current council has themselves selected a person as their Speaker(Roger Barnett) who owes IRS six figures in taxes he did not pay so the US has to seize his tribal pay check and this same person doesn't pay owed child support, has a give me pick up truck furnished by a gaming company and travels on your dime where ever he supposedly goes on tribal business. Its a real wonder he is not in prison and of course that may be around the corner.
He is one selection for 2d Chief on the General Election Ballot.
Barnett's running mate is George Tiger another member of the council sewer gang who has never paid child support, never paid his bills, been sued for bad debts so often your computer overloads when you look at his Oklahoma court record. Tiger is another one who has had criminal charges filed against him and plead guilty to a felony.
We have 2 council members running for Chief(Tiger) and 2d Chief(Barnett) who are absolutely the most embarrassing individuals currently involved in our government. Neither can borrow a dime from any bank, neither pays his bills but relies on a woman for a place to live. They both are prime examples of bottom feeders.

Every citizen that attends a fourm should demand information on personal finiances,tax returnes,and have they ever pled guilty for any type of crime.If elected these are the ones who will be in charge of your tribal dollars.Theres a couple I wouldn't trust with anything. It's mud time because some of the canidants are not as clean as they lead you to believe. Bet they will avoid your questions about the personal finances ect. You need to know the facts and I said facts.

The real question regarding rogers tax problems is where did the money come from that he owes taxes on. Too owe six figures(thats over $100,000) in back taxes, you would have to have not paid taxes on over $400,000 in income. the only job Roger has had is on the Council. If we are paying the council members that kind of money, we are paying way to much. If it didn't come from Creek Nation then where did it come from. Got an answer Roger?

Rumors are getting rampant. New rumor is that a mother of one/some of Roger's children will be wanting back child support for 8 or 9 years. Can you imagine, if this is true, where else but the Creek Nation will he get any money to do his duties. That would be on top of the IRS problems. Maybe he can get a job as an Administrator with Merrill Lynch, a Developer, or a Casino vendor, or somewhere outside of the Creek Nation. They may pay more. Let him do his go-around stuff elsewhere. We don't want him and we will not be voting for him. Shirks his responsibilities everywhere.

anonymous, it looks like someone wanted him he is in the run offs. The same is with George, we can gripe and complain all we want to but it's not over til it's over. What is everyone going to do when these people are sworn in, its not about their finances it is about the people voting. mt

Whether you like it or not, those two want back in so they can continue to steal and embezzle from our tribal coffers. That's the only way they can survive.
It is about their finances or lack thereof. Their own financial problems show lack of character, trust or ethics. I guess you are one who has been promised something because that's how they get in.
As citizens, we have been taught by our elders to trust and forgive and go on trusting and forgiving. But there is a time to stop being a sucker, and a lot of us are at that point. We are not talking gossip, we are talking facts and truth, and if you fail to realize that, then you are the biggest sucker of all. You are just a "Georgy-Girl". Do you know his family from Twin Hills? No child support from him either, just like Roger. Whether they are in the run-offs or not, that doesn't change anything about them. There were other good people that didn't make the run-offs, aren't there?

Makes me wonder how these mothers feel about George & Roger not contributing to their (out of wedlock)illegitimate children's welfare. I guess they expect the tribe to take this responsibility on, and not hold the fathers accountable, and which is what is happening. Not a fair solution to the fun and games, is it?

FYI anonymous and others. Citizen is also known as Creek in past post. Citizen (Creek) main agenda is to discredit Mike Flud using different names to make it appear that there is a large number of people opposed to Mike. I understand that Citizen's (creek) candidate is now acting as Mike's campaign manager. Good luck with your new identity.

Thanks. I kinda guessed the same. So now this strong George supporter has jumped ship and deserted former candidate for "change" and was a strong supporter there. If it's a game they're playing, we will know shortly. We know too many people and they will soon talk.
It will take more than Citizen or Creek to discredit Mike Flud. The only negatives that this George supported has been able to manage is that Mike Flud doesn't need the money (Tiger & Barnett do). Mike Flud talks down to people (confidence misinterpreted, I think). And that Mike Flud lies, and I happen to know what that is all about.

I am not a george supporter or barnett, but evidently it is eating you up to not know who I am, you do not know who I voted for. If you know what the lies are about then why talk so high about flud. It will all come out on voting day who wants who. In fact I am not going to vote for george or flud because two wrongs don't make a right.

Your comments are funny and rather juvenile. Yeah, take your ball (vote) and run away, but you won't. You're all talk, especially about how you won't vote for either Flud or Tiger. No, two wrongs don't make a right, however, with George, there are many more than 1 or 2 wrongs. As has been stated many times, documented. And if your voting reasons are as such, then I would rather you don't vote at all. We are tired of uneducated and uninformed or misinformed voters.

If you want to vote for Flud it is your choice. Even when I don't mention Flud it is said I did.Like I said I have freedom of speech so you can't shut me up unless voices do. Anonymous and Este, maybe citizen is known to you as Creek but that is not who I am. I did not mention mike flud, i commented that george and roger were in the run-offs and what can we do if they are sworn in. We can do nothing, and I mentioned finances because whether you are rich or poor what it all boils down to is how the people vote. I am not anyones campaign manager but whoever is more power to them.You don't even know what I was referring to when I said he talked down to people. Get over your little bout with Creek and move on. He or she just spoke what they felt was right I guess and besides that did not the voices tell you this was not a chat line?

Or getting money from that Giles company who wants to build a casino on Creek Nation property for a tribal town. The holdup is that the laws state that permission must come from the tribe(MCN), and Chief Ellis didn't allow it. It was George & Roger who supported Giles then publicly, and they are still at it. Ms Giles stands to reap over $18 million annually from such a deal. Of course, if Tiger & Barnett are successful, they would get a lot of money under the table, their mode of operation. They're probably getting some now for their efforts. They really do not care for the Nation. To them, the Nation means money. Or there is another party involved and that's Wilmorite, casino management and developers, who would be doing that casino. Come on citizens, I do not make things up. Check it out.

Remember a couple of months or so ago, former Creek Tax Commissioner Dana Johnson was sued by a car dealer for not making any payments on a car she had purchased? Well she has been spotted driving around in a big ass truck. Is it hers? Does she have a new high paying job somewhere? Don't think the average Creek can get their credit repaired that fast or am I wrong?

Ladies and gentleman,
I have come to the conclusion that George Tiger will be the next Principal Chief of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. I know that many individuals may not support this but there are a lot of others that do.
The absentee voters will be the deciding factor in this election. They spoke in the primary and they'll make their decision in the general election; they want George Tiger to be Principal Chief.
Let us put aside our bickerings and opinions and embrace this fact.
To Mr. Lonnie Hamilton, you did the most unrighteous thing for Mr. Flud by holding that forum for him.
I hope that my grandchildren will have a Musccogee (Creek) Nation.

I'm not sure how YOU know what the voters want. Isn't that why we have the election? Shouldn't we wait for the election before we crown King Tiger? You want everyone to just shut up and NOT bring out truths about the candidates? I want to know who I am voting for and what kind of a person and Chief he will be. Personally, I want to see the facts and opinions, now, before the elections.
As for the forum, it was intended to be a debate for BOTH candidates, and I thank Mr. Hamilton for organizing it. Ask Tiger why he didn't show.
Should Tiger become the Chief, your grandchildren will still have a Muscogee (Creek) Nation, for a while longer, but the Nation will have a lot less money.

George Tiger cannot tell the truth for he lives a lie.
He told all before the primary election he would get 58% of the vote, he was off by 28%.
Now he tells all his past and present CRIMINAL RECORD and CURRENT PROBLEM PAYING HIS BILLS is not important-
The Creek Nation cannot survive such a person as leader -
