PAST NC VOTES - Do they DESERVE our Votes?
Remember NCA 09-030, sponsored by David Nichols, 2nd by Steve Bruner. This bill was to authorize appropriation for the Election Board to conduct a Special Election for Proposed Constitutional Amendments. These Council members voted not to fund the election,hence, they refused to allow the Creek citizens the right to vote on the Constitutional Amendments.

well they past the budget what is in it for the employee's?why is it a top secret?we are employee's of the tribe we need the n.c. to help the employee too!we to like to keep up with the jones too!!

Thomas Yahola, my favorite thief
Of all the thieves on the Creek Council, my favorite is Thomas Yahola. I like him best because, unlike George Tiger who constantly shows off his stealing prowess, Thomas Yahola quietly goes his way, stealing, and not calling attention to himself. His genius is that he doesn’t look like a thief, act like one, or try to be the best at his craft. Yet he is one of the longest, least unrecognized, self serving thief that we have in public service.
There are others, of course, people like Eddie Lagrone, Roger Barnett, Tom Pickering, Dave Nichols, who have been around forever, and who always have strained expressions on their faces at election time. But not Thomas Yahola. He sails through each election like a hot knife through butter, while waving aside the chorus of supporters singing his praises and carrying him on their shoulders.
There are other thieves approaching his status, rising stars, if you will. But they don’t have his style either. Shirlene Ade, for example will take you to court if you disagree with her. Lena Wind will bite you at the slightest provocation. And Travis Scott will, ah…we won’t mention that. The rest are still establishing themselves.
We have a penchant for fingering the ones who we believe are the incorrigibles, the ones who steal and who we know are stealing, but we never talk about all the thieves. But to be fair to the thieves who have established themselves as such, and who call forth our rancor, the other thieves who serve with them on the Council are getting free passes, and that is un-American.
A thief is someone who steals, who takes something that does not belong to them. There is no distinction between the ones who takes money from under the table and those who serve on the Council only for a salary and return nothing of value to citizens. Both groups are exploiting their positions of power for personal gain.
How else to explain George Tiger and Thomas Yahola? Aren’t they doing the same things? Don’t both of them have proven records; one a known thief and the other an unknown one? They represent both groups in elected position on the Council.
The loud sound you hear when the machine sucks your ballot out of your hand is the sound of you shooting yourself in the foot. The other sound, the cackling one, is the sound of the Universe laughing at us.

OMG! This is so refreshing! I wondered how and when this would be revealed. All of the names mentioned above are for themselves and family!!!! When are the people going to realize that they have been had?

In 2007 the NC passed legislation to pay a Public Relations company $86,000 to put out propaganda promoting the national council.
Do you remember?
Do you remember the wonderful pictures of Shirlene Ade, Thomas Yahola, George Tiger, Roger Barnett and others standing in front of the new VANS for communities and churches, purchased to get votes?
Do you remember the pictures of the NC taking credit for the wonderful job our "Emergency Management" did during the fires down south?
The total lack of morals, scruples, decency is still unbelieable.
Do you remember George Tiger was speaker at that time.
Do you remember that G. Tiger as speaker and the full council stopped the tobacco compact with Oklahoma - now our shops are in jeapordy.
This national council far too long has stolen our money - in front of our faces and behind our backs.

Hum.....this is interesting. Has anyone seen T Yahola set up at the Wetumka Offices..........you would think the President work's there. But of course, his daughter was in charge of setting up the entire building. How many other council memebers have a private office that is set up with the big cherry wood desk and leather chair.
Also whats up with the National council approving Terri Anderson a salary of $80,000 a year to homeschool her own children? It is sad to hear how the tribes spend money and other creek citizens are being denied medcial treatments and some are life threatening treatments. Also most employees who work for Creek Nation do not even make 1/2 of a salary of $80,000. I guess we were lucky that Ms Anderson didn't make the run off for 2nd Chief either.
So tell me know are you all going to vote for the same NC members.

There's no proof established that Yahola is dishonest. Ade, Barnett, Scott, etc. there's circumstantial evidence. Tiger? DIRECT evidence.

I'm as Creek at the next Creek, but I don't understand why so many people vote for crooked, manipulating people such as admitted and proven thief George Tiger and tax evader, home hopping, don't take care of his kids Roger Barnett.
What is it that attracts a lot of Creeks to criminals and mafia types?

They would rather trust someone that's a crook but looks like a full blood than someone that's honest but looks like a thin blood. We all know that whites , even a little whit can't be trusted.

Barnett has always kept the mother and her daughters behind closed doors, until recenetly due to the election he has been parading around in public places like a family man. What a joke! Lady you need to open your eyes. Take down the signs in front of your house that he does not help you pay for, even though he is busy laying around in it like he might own it. Remember once a cheater always a cheater....

You need to come to Wetumka and live for a while. We, who have known him agree with the statement that he is a person who does things on the sly without being noticed. Ade is a liar and does not represent her people in tvkvpvtche district. I don't know about Barnett and Scott.
