NC & the 3 MONTHS LEFT IN the YEAR
The other evening in one of their "Emergency" meetings, they passed the FY 2012 budget. That was one of the
craws in citizens' minds all this past year, thus creating additional rancor between theirs and the other two branches of our government.
They did this on 9/27/2011 by a vote of 12 yes and 7 no, with 20 in attendance.
We need to find out who those 7 no votes belong to.

Why would they even vote against the budget when they don't even pay attention to it anyway, and just give money away all the time, with no regard to the budget?

Looks like only Darrell Proctor voted NO, who is running for re-election.
For that reason, I will NOT VOTE for him. He is from McIntosh District.

for all you know that budget could have houses for all non creeks in there. but we will never know because no one is allowed to see the whole budget just parts so I would vote no also
(VOC: The process, short simple version of the law is that the Chief submits the budget to the council. Then the council looks it over, votes on it, lock, stock & barrel, Yes or No. They cannot amend figures or line-item (delete) employee positions or something else out, as they have done in the past. Against the laws of the MCN Constitution for them to to otherwise. So if there are houses for all non creeks in the budget, you know where to go for blame, if that's what you want to do.)

in those line items, those houses could be in there but since the council nor the citizens are NOT allowed to see those how do you know they are not in there VOC? you dont.
(VOC: I think you misread my comments to you on your comment page. Yes, the Council does see it & read the budget. Please re-read my comments to you in the red letters.)

I requested a copy thank you. There were no line items in that budget. Same exact copy that the Council passed. So tell me again................

Have you questioned your council member about your concerns about houses and raises if they are in the budget? You appear to be barking up the wrong tree, by doing it on a website and not person to person with the proper officials.

I don't know which clinic you work at, but if it's at Sapulpa and your not one of the medical people. you don't deserve a raise. You wait until the last day that you have to do anything.

I've noticed unacceptable grammar on some comments, and some of them identify themselves as employees. I certainly hope they don't have to do any writing in their positions. Writing and reading comprehension should be requirements on job applications. This isn't just the Health Dept. either. Have you tried reading papers such as grievance submissions, Light Horse reports, etc. Pitiful, aren't they? Of course, this deficiency isn't considered for raises, but maybe it should.
I'm not making fun of anyone, I will attribute some errors on typing, and don't take this criticism too personal.

That sounds like a reference to Sapulpa's former administrator who would let us run completely out of copy paper and paper towels before signing off to order more. Have fun Okemah, she's all yours now!

Sapulpa does have a bad reputation. I will not go there for care. Nobody answers the phones or returns your call if you are stupid enough to leave a voicemail. They send you to Coweta for tests but never let you know the results. If I have to drive to Coweta for a test I may as well just get my care there.

Jones, Proctor, and Dornan have all been pawns of Bill Fife and George Tiger, not one of these individuals have had an original thought or idea in regards to the betterment of the Nation since they have been on the council. The problem is Jones is still there and we have to pick between Proctor or Dornan, not much to choose from.

thing is, Dorman is in "conflict of interest" serving on both NC and as Mayor
of Eufaula Ok. and she should know that.

James (Jim) Mcgirt running for the Council used to be on the Council. He was so disrupful and disrespectful he was repeatedly escorted out of the meeting and eventually impeached and removed by the Chief and Council.

I guess this is a case of best of the worst when you vote. Pitiful, but I will vote against Shirlene Ade. Maybe McGirt has learned a few things since then. Shirlene just gets worse.

I have been hearing that Shirlene Ade believes she is too powerful to be beat, along with GT & RB. What can be worse? I will be voting for James McGirt, in the case of the lesser of the two evils, if there is such a thing!

I despise Shirlene as an elected official. I can tolerate her on a personal level. Her husband is a blowhard beep beep. I think so little of her but MUCH less of McGirt. I think I'd decline to urinate on him if he were in need of moistutre.

We have one up on you Sapulpaii her stint of "acting " as an adm left Okmulgee clinic without toilet paper. But not to worry the employees bought the toilet paper. And yes she made more money than those spending their money on the toilet paper. But remember Ed think she is such a great manager.
Yes Okemah, we are all thrilled she is yours. Veterans keep a spare roll handy.
