George Tiger has made promises at forums, in conversations and meetings to the following and those promises are positions within his new government.
Those who have received promises are Wilson Bear, Alfred Berryhill, Judy Aaron,Roger Barnett(if not elected 2d Chief),Tommy Pickering,Charley LeSarge,Shirlene Ade, Paula Willits, Buddy York, Famous Marshall, Jeff Fife, Mike Wisner, Marcella Giles and many non Creeks who own gaming machine companies, vendors and of course tobacco vendors.
We are now hearing of employee promises. Such as a top job to JUDY HAUMPY. I'm sure you all know who she is. She has been around the block, so to speak, in the Creek Nation. And of course, George and his council friends are still holding the Attorney General position for Susan Arkeketa. And don't forget old Wiley Coyote.
Hi to all you Tiger supporters. There are a couple of other websites who seem to be Tiger supporters. Go on over there and spew your stuff over there.
As has been stated before, this is VOC's website. Not mine nor yours and VOC can do what they want. In the past, they have been fairly lenient on topics if requested. So maybe they just don't want to do that. Their website! Duh!

Will knowing the truth set us free?
Increasingly more citizens are asking if knowing more facts about a candidate will make any difference in whether we vote for them or not. After learning that Berryhill is holding off on who he will support because he is waiting “to see what George Tiger has to offer,” I am beginning to wonder myself. It appears that more are concerned about their own welfare than about the fate of their Nation. If there is any truth to be learned in the upcoming debate between the Chief and Second Chief candidates, it will not be about them but about the character of citizens of the Creek Nation. We already know of one of them.
No, I don't think facts about candidates make any difference to us Creeks. All that is put on this site are documented facts, yet we question whether we should vote them into office. Yes, they do care more about their own welfare than about our Nation's fate. I've already seen how some of those working for the Nation are running around trying to make points with the candidates in hopes they may get on the list of hold-over employees, those who are scheduled to be gone at the end of the Chief's term.
Those depts are: Light Horse, Controller, A. G., Sec. of Nation, Ex. Director, Dir. of Tribal Affairs, Human Development, Housing, Health & Community Svc Div., Gaming Commissioner and Tax Commissioner. It won't matter how well they've done their jobs & are good employees. They will be gone because they worked for the Chief, and the NC doesn't want anyone who did.
Sorry laws we have and some of us follow all the laws, and the NC follows which law helps them the most. So be ready folks, it will not be about good, but about vengeful attitudes. So don't fret about whether our comments upset you, it is about perpetuating elections of incompetent candidates.
Well, I can certainly tell nothing has changed in this tribe since I left several months ago! Misfires people you should be ashamed of yourselves. In my time off an away from your nonsense I have discovered a lot of other tribes operate much more efficiently and professionally than we do. I voted so I have a legitimate voice. Of half of the crap thats being posted is true and Tiger /Barnett are it then we as a tribe are in serious trouble. We were in trouble before the election but that will seal the coffin. Thanks for giving me a reason to work for another tribe - at leat they mY treat me with respect and appreciate the hard work. I'll vote in Nov again but right now not really understanding why! This has made my elders spirits very sad-Muscogee tribe you disappoint on so many levels it just isn't worth being a pride Native anymore. Listen to what your ancestors tell you. George Tiger never paid child support for his children when they were young and Roger doesn't pay child support for his young children now.

This is a sad nation, Indeed! Our elders spoke to us by example and lead. They also spoke with the vision of experience and foresight. "Help your people and do what is right for all for we are few". It saddens me to see all the controversy that is going on in our nation. I am an elder and I have seen changes in the mindset of our people. Our people of long ago were proud, honorable and forthright. They were warriors and believed in the nation and fought for that belief. There is none today that I see as warriors for the people. MVTO! Anon, I sense your frustration, but I must disagree that there are no warriors today. There are many warriors and you are one. Battles are waged today with the weapon of truth in posts, votes, vetoes and court decisions. A.D. Ellis will go down in Muscogee history as a warrior for the people. There have been others to stand with him, but sadly, far too few. The controversy you speak of is the clash of honesty versus corruption. Unfortunately, few actually know of the silent battle that has been waged, but it will eventually all come out. The citizens must arm themselves with the truth and exercise their warrior's right to vote. It would indeed be a sad Nation if the citizens allow the corruption to take over.
We will have to define the meaning of the word “warrior.” I don’t know any among the Creeks, except Chief Ellis and the bronze statues in front of the Vet Center. Writing to this site (the Voices who have done more than just vote are warriors) and voting hardly makes one a warrior. If that were the case, than we have over five thousand of them, the amount who voted in the least election, and enough to make George Tiger a non issue. I think, Pumaclw, it take more effort than what you require to be a warrior. I suggest that rubber stamping “Warrior” on the rump of every male Creek would do the trick.
My point was that warriors in the modern world no longer wage physical war ... maybe we should. haha But, there are things citizens CAN do such as participate in passing on the truth and voting. Is this enough to become a "Warrior"? Maybe not, but it is all some can do. To those that can do more ... great, but we all can be warriors in our own way, and we all should. We can be a Nation of "Warriors" again.
I too left my tribe to work for another Indian nation. Sadly, I feel more appreciated here than I ever did at the CN. I look back and think that I should come back. But, how can a thinking, reasonable person elect to come back to a government that is seriously about to elect a proven thief, liar, etc. as their CEO and a deadbeat as their 2nd in command. These two have caused more issues in their time as elected officials than anyone. They are the key reasons the tobacco compact with the state is not in place and it is going to cost us MILLIONS to repair that.
I have the community audit reports somewhere. I'm going to go through them and find out how many times each of these pieces of driftwood received money from the communities. I understand that Mr. Barnett doesn't feel that he should pay child support to support his children because the Creek Nation social services should do that for them. DISGRAFEFUL and SHAMEFUL. First, on him. But, second, on anyone who voted for his worthless butt.
Mike Flud is not the perfect candidate for Chief but he's SOOOOOO much better than this riff-raff.

We are in a desperate plight and it looks like no one can help us, but maybe "SUPERMAN" sorry folks but it looks like our last hope was Mike Flud, but where is he? The BIA is not going to help us nor the FBI or any other federal acronym, this is a mess that the Nation got them selves in and there won't be anyone to bale us out of except ourselves. I appreciate this forum that has allowed so many of us to express our thoughts and ideas, but am a little concerned that the words that are spoke here haven't made it out to the general population of the Nation, this being apparent by the primary election. I contened that Tiger only got 33% of the votes that still leaves 67% of the population that didn't vote for him so there may still be some hope.

All I know is what I read in the campaign literature. And Ol' George is promising the communities massive support in his printed materials.
You can bet, probably not behind a microphone or out loud, but in private, he's telling the folks in Bristow, Eufaula, Okemah, Checotah, etc. they will get "their" casinos back if he's elected Chief. Nevermind that it wouldn't be legal by either Mvskoke or federal law.
I also expect he's telling the "dual citizens" in Kialegee (and the other tribal towns who can vote in M(C)N elections by virtue of their dual citizenship) he'll support their efforts to build casinos in Tulsa to compete with the M(C)N casino. He's already done so as NC member.
I want to comment on several matters that have a direct relation to how an individual will perform when in public office.
First: George Tiger is not a veteran although he was draft age when he completed high school. He has not explained his lack of military service so he must have avoided the draft by hook or crook.
Mike Flud is a veteran, enough said.
Two: George Tiger has not detailed any one thing he has accomplished for the benefit of the Creek Nation as a whole. His list of legislation is dismal and used only to get votes.

Three: George Tiger has done every imaginable thing to create massive problems for our government, He Orchestrated the NON approval of the Tobacco Compact with Oklahoma, He Testified(for a fee) for a private person in an attempt to establish a competing Casino in Tulsa County, He Killed legislation concerning Campaign Finance & Ethics(citizens are not able to know who gives money to George Tiger for his campaign)therefore we do not know who will be controlling Tiger.
Mike Flud on the other hand has only accomplished good things for the Creek Nation.
Four: George Tiger's reputation tells all voters exactly how he will function in high office. He takes money under the table and will continue, he takes advantage of people and will continue, he does not pay his debts and will continue, he is guilty of many wrong doings the most grievous was the damage he did to his own children who now are convicted felons, he has never held steady employment and has existed by conning governments, organizations businesses and women.
Five: Last night George Tiger voted to approve an annual budget for the entire Creek Nation, he has been against this budget all year, He Voted against the budget last year(Business & Government Committee)-WHY DID HE CHANGE HIS VOTE LAST NIGHT another con HE WANTS THE VOTES OF EMPLOYEES AND CITIZENS WHO HE HAS NOT CARED ABOUT EVER BUT NOW NEEDS VOTES. He really does not care about citizen services nor employee paychecks HE DOES CARE ABOUT GEORGE TIGER.
Mike Flud truly cares about people, his entire working life he has served people in education, volunteer in community activities, and as a employee of the Creek Nation after he retired, He is a person our citizens and youth can look up to for he had been a REAL ROLE Model
SIX: NO CREEK SHOULD WANT GEORGE TIGER AS A ROLE MODEL he is an example OF HOW YOU SHOULD NOT CONDUCT YOUR LIFE. HE IS SIMPLY A DISGRACE.
Seven: GEORGE TIGER HAS BEEN HANDCUFFED IN PUBLIC AND TAKEN TO JAIL. HE HIMSELF HAS SAID PUBLICLY IT WILL SOON HAPPEN AGAIN!
YEA, YEA. Those rumors we have been hearing ARE TRUE. The feds are looking for ole' George and his shadow Roger. Maybe something will really happen before the election like I'm hoping. I surely don't wish for an elected chief to be put under arrest and make our tribe look even worse than the damage they have already done for our citizens and our tribe.

Excuse me! I have been reading the posts for some time. I also have read the documentation on Tiger and Barnett. If they are so vile, why is is that they are in the runoffs? This is something I cannot understand. Also , I have read a lot of negative comments re: Shirlene Ade. A citizen that attended the Cromwell Meet & Greet commented that she stuck to George Tiger like a leech. If these people are that corrupt, and the people want change, please, someone explain to me why the continue to be elected.
It's known as family, friends and clan. People don't want to believe that their kin would do that. George Tiger never supported his three out of wedlock children but mothers family who raised them are all big supporters of Tiger. Go figure
If there's anything there, I think the feds will act when they're ready to act. If I woke up to someone telling me that George and Roger were indicted it would be akin to someone telling me that the Cubs didn't make the playoffs or that Judy Aaron had made a snide comment and given someone a dirty look.

Did not affect my computer when I opened it. The only virus that was contained was the one infecting the communities. Also there are very good virus and software available for free on line. AVG is one can be found at avg.com

I am the one who sent the warning to voc when I tried to open the attachment my firewall stated that the attachment contained malware I was just trying to keep people from exposing their computers...I agree that Everyone needs to read the community audits.
I will be voting for George Tiger. I also want to say that I am totally, 100% disgusted by the photo place on the www.creek.boardhost.com website. To depict George as Hitler goes beyond the pale of normal decency. Thank GOD for the VOC and their willingness to run an honest, believable website!
At least you're told up front that the website is un-sensored, and that one can put anything on it. So I don't know the why of your disgust. In the past, they also did the same with Chief Ellis, and not many complained. One visits that site at his own peril!

Unlike Ol' George, Hitler had a couple of good qualities. Hitler was a veteran, and he actually helped the German economy recover from the world-wide depression of the 1930's.
Hitler did unspeakably horrible things, but at least Hitler knew how to accomplish his goals. Ol' George only knows how to run his mouth, and he's never even been able to earn a living doing that. Ol' George has been at the center of every fiasco involving the M(C)N over the last eight years.

I don't believe this hear-say stuff. But regardless, are you talking about the primary election? That's something no one is even thinking about at this time. I received a couple of invitations from other candidates. Wonder why they haven't been accused of anything? We can pretty much guess what your intentions are.
The intentions would be full disclosure on both sides. I doubt either candidate has the spine to come forward to name their management teams. If we're going to vote, let's vote on the whole gang and not just whether someone is a "nice guy" versus "a thief". And, yes, we can pretty much determine your intentions as well.

Everywhere it is being said the same things I said above and alot of them are not going to vote for either one. It is a sad day when this happens, but then we all know what will happen either way. We just have to continue praying.
To Citizen: I forget to add this to my other comment. You keep calling Flud's friends "cronies", making it sound sinister. But you call George's friends "buddies", making it sound sweet. Flud does have many long-time friends. Unfortunately, I have known George for many years, and I really can't point to any friend, only acquaintances. By the way, cronies, buddies and friends all mean pretty much the same.
Keep in mind that David Nichols attempted to introduce that Ethics & Campaign Finance Law, and it was killed in that B & G Committee by George Tiger. So add that to your list of issues to attribute to the "thief" you support to lead our tribe. George & his friends were purely afraid of this law, and its good to keep in mind who of his cronies are on that B & G Committee, Ade, Alexander, Hufft, and they helped him kill the bill, that would have done what you refer to.

Has anyone heard about the good deed David nichols did, he wrote a bill to help the hanna school athletic dept. I hope he gets the full credit for it but that isn't the only time he has helped someone, he does it all the time. Every since he has been on the council he has been willing to help anyone as the council should be, I've heard about some council members telling their own family that they can't help them because that is not their area. She or he could have at least told them who to go to get the assistance they needed.
