I say bring them in if they aren't already here and go back as far as they can. We have some embezzelers still working at the casinos or with the tribe including some on the council. weed them all out and prosecute them since the tribe is only slapping them on the wrist. let's the get the FBI involved here too! they may get in our business but somebody needs to.

Total of 14 tribal officials were found guilty & convicted, with 11 going to federal prison & 3 on probation. Here are some of charges:
    a. Payment of relatives' expenses.
    b. Embezzlement.
    c. Fraudulent statements.
    d. Unlawfully rec. & converting gaming revenue.
    e. Lying to FBI and HUD.
    f. Conspiracy
    g. Defrauding Social Security by failing to report income.

Evidence at trial showed that, between 2000 and 2006, Blind and Sankey conspired to embezzle tribal funds entrusted to them by virtue of their elected positions through submission of various travel claims for expenses related to conferences they did not attend, improper reimbursements, and payment for expenses of relatives to which they were not entitled.

In addition, evidence showed that tribal funds were used to purchase cashiers’ checks from which cash was retained for personal use, and that checks were improperly drawn on the Tribal operating and tax accounts for personal use. Also, evidence showed that tribal funds were used to purchase various vehicles (including a 2001 Dodge Pickup, 2002 Lincoln Town Car, Chrysler 300 M, and a 2003 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab Pickup), two riding lawn mowers, and a portable storage building, which were not returned to the Tribes upon leaving office. In total, more than $150,000 of Tribal funds were embezzled or converted.

Come on, Creeks. Just change the tribal name from Cheyenne-Arapahoe to Muscogee Creek Nation, and put in our Community Creek wrong-doers names like Pickering, Barnett, Tiger, Wind, Fife, York and several more, and it is the exact same crimes. Can't tell the difference.  The bad thing is they will continue to do their wrongs while the courts are working on their cases.

It took FBI and the Federal Courts 6 years to get this done, so don't get discouraged.  It will happen.

I added up some of restitution amounts and its almost $700,000., plus over 1/2 million which could apply just on the husband & wife (Blind & Sankey) in fines & restitution.

The first one to go should be Ms Belcher from Eufaula. Sorry I know that she's an "elder" but the laws should be applied fairly. She was the one overseeing the EIC funds. If she's just a patsy for others she should come forward and tell the truth now about the missing funds ($300,000 still unaccounted for) or she should get ready to spend her life behind bars.

Everyone......Everyone knows and has known for years that Tom Pickering has advised/instructed/suggested Ms. Belcher on what was " Ok and legal" for her to do. She is a very nice, somewhat easily lead astray poor soul. She has listened to bad, illegal advice and believed what was told to her. Certain "ringleaders" at EIC have wanted her to be the treasure because they have so easily manipulated her. her. They will not stand up and take their blame. If they can flush her down the toilet they will. They will wash their hands of her.
