Click link above & see what the NC votes were on the 2/4/10 NC agenda items.

Then click on other link & you will see Chief's request for citizen input on appropriations, whether you would like for a VETO on any legislation listed.
Use this as as a blessing for us to have input, on things we continue to gripe about.  This is also a way for NC to learn of citizens' desires.

WOULD YOU  LIKE  THE CHIEF TO VETO ANY OR ALL OF THE APPROPRIATIONS?
LET HIM KNOW QUICKLY, AS HE DOES HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL DEADLINE FOR VETOES.

I would say call his office, e-mail it in or fax it in to him.

I truly am not trying to be negative as I beelieve all citizens with access should print out multiple copies of the form and handout to their family and fellow citizens.....however I do not believe the National Council will hear our voices. The Chief will but they won't.

You could make a copy and give to your representative. They probably won't read it but at least you have tried.

Well finally everyone is getting pi__ed off.Sure took a long time.Hope it isn't to late to save your jobs.Don't just talk about it take some action and make them calls. There are some council members that won't give a care what you say.Better hope Chief vetos most of the money bills and you have the votes to let the vetos stand or some employees will be standing in the unemployeement line.Mabey if your job is lost you can go to work at one of the communities cause it looks like they will have all the money,Money for attorneys, court is pretty much over.

Try for jobs at the communities. Better yet, ask for jobs at the council office, or even better than that, tell the council member who voted for all the appropriations TO FIND YOU A JOB, ONE THAT IS AT LEAST EQUAL TO WHAT YOU HAVE NOW. Because, no doubt, there will be many law-offs and teminations due to this continual waste of tribal money. By the way, those comunities which will have the money are: Eufaula, Duck Creek and Checotah.
